What a wonderful place! Such a wonderful Vibe. A gentleman opened the door and welcomed me to the shop. The lady at the counter called "Welcome to Pop's and Granny's" in the most cheerful voice to every customer. After spending hours digging through five or six thrift stores in Hixson and coming up mostly empty handed, I was delighted find a small rack packed with exactly what I needed - men's long sleeved dress shirts in a variety of colors. As I started making a pile of them for a school play, the lady brought me a buggy. The sweet cashier even gave me a discount for buying 18 of them. Pop's and Granny's Saved the Day and the Play! I wish my photo of the store didn't turn out so blurry. I may drive back over there after the play to show the folks how they helped all the kids look good. :D read more

great small thrift shop experience you definitely have to stop in because they have good clothing options for cheap. if you are more of a thrifty person i would definitely recommend this place as an alternative to goodwill or others! and all the ladies inside are very friendly, sweet and helpful! read more

I was in town for the weekend visiting my son, I decided to check out some thrift stores. As soon as we walked into Pop's and Granny's we were greeted by Granny herself who welcomed us to the store and told us a little history of the place. Sadly Pop's is no longer around but 86 yr old Granny is still going strong, telling us what sales she was having and going to get a cart for us making sure we felt welcomed and appreciated. Shop was full of little trinkets and treasures. Definitely worth the stop if you love to thrift and love family owned stores. Granny is amazing and the lady checking me put who I believe was family gave me a Bible study book and told me she could not charge me for learning the Lord's word! Pop's and Granny's is a great find on Wilcox Blvd, just east of the Wilcox Tunnel. They always have a random assortment of stuff to find, including housewares, clothes, furniture, and more! The prices are great, as well! The owners/staff are all incredibly friendly, and after my second visit, I felt like they were family. I always enjoy hunting the shelves and tables for some great or unique finds! Some visits, I might just find something small. Other visits, I fill up my truck. read more

Great variety of items. Be prepared to spend some time because the place is jammed packed with goodies. The staff are lovely helpful folks and made me feel welcome. I am an avid thriftee and love to support small businesses. This awesome thrift store was actually supposed to be a small pitstop on my way to the airport... Miss Ruby and her team took such great care of me that I had to spend about an hour in there just to experience her hospitality... The team there helped me find what I was looking for and much more and treated me like family since the second I walked in the door. I can't say enough great things about this awesome thrift store.
