    Ladies Restroom

We stopped here to use the restroom and were pleasantly surprised to find how adorable it was! We ended up walking the entire station. There were small shops selling coffee and cocktails, as well as gift shops and a relaxing area to take in the ambiance. The ladies' restroom was particularly charming and spotlessly clean! In the back of the station, there was a hotel with a pool. Overall, it was a great stop!

Absolutely worth a visit! This lovely old train station converted into a mini shopping/event/hotel district is such a quaint gem. We loved seeing the Chattanooga Choo Choo Train and walking the grounds. There's so many lovely, older details to appreciate (like door handles being railroad spikes). There's a couple of restaurants, bars, a comedy club, boutiques, a large astroturf lawn, and a hotel that offers traditional accommodations as well as the opportunity to sleep in a converted Victorian sleeper train car- with a pool! This year, the "Nooga Lights" company is also hosting it's first walk through Halloween lights show at the complex. Parking for the complex is paid only and a pay for parking garage is also nearby. Definitely a place to visit and check off your Chattanooga, TN list.

Make sure you toast before stepping out to explore downtown. The hotel beds are very comfortable, the rooms are clean, and they smell good. This was just a temporary halt for us on the way down south but would consider staying at this hotel next time.

From check in to the request for late check out (highly suggest becoming an IHG member) to actually checking out, everything and everyone about this hotel was truly amazing. We were greeted warmly with 2 vouchers for a complimentary glass of wine at the bar. The room was stylish and modern. I appreciated that the AC unit was hidden in a cabinet with openings, I don't see that often. What really did it for me is that the bathroom not only came with the usual hair dryer but also a plug in vanity mirror that I was able to take into the room so I could free up the bathroom for my husband. Bed, pillows and comforter were top notch, no complaints, my husband even wanted to take a pillow home. we didn't!! At check out, Donovan was so accommodating that he made a cup of coffee for my husband because we missed the coffee bar and breakfast. I will 100% stay here again while visiting Chattanooga.

The Trail of Tears, when Cherokee tribes were forced from their lands in Chattanooga to Oklahoma, started nearby. Facing the Tennessee River are 7 figures playing stickball. Playing the important game of stickball provided a way for members of the Cherokee Nation to settle disagreements, even to the point of players getting injured or killed. Just my opinion, but I think this a valuable exhibit that should be maintained a lot better and treated with respect. During my visit, to The Passage, there were a lot of people wading in the water, and wall that the stainless steel stickball players are on appeared water damaged.
