A year ago, I would have absolutely recommended Lanier Urgent Care, but after today I most certainly do not! I have had 3 separate infections, illnesses in a month! I saw my regular Family Dr. one day last week and had a full work up with a full blood panel, on that day I felt fine but made sure I informed him that had recently had 2 separate "colds" in the past 3 weeks. The next day I woke up feeling ill again and worsened in the following days. I just took OTC cold medication while I waited for my test results. I received my results in the mail after lunch yesterday, Thursday October 31 2019, when I saw that they in fact showed an elevated WBC indicating another bacterial infection I called his office to inform him that I had become quite ill, and to inquire about trying to get a sick work in visit. Unfortunately it was too late yesterday, a Thursday and my Dr. doesn't work on Friday, nor were there any work ins with another Dr. They were kind enough to go ahead and send me an antibiotic prescription to my pharmacy, but I remained in a great deal of pain. After trying every OTC pain reliever there is, a prescription anti-inflammatory, ice and heat, I gave in and sought treatment today at Lanier. I would like to first note that I am a very pain tolerant person. I am disabled due to injury and have lived in pain every single day for many years now and am not on a narcotic regimen! I also am a self pay uninsured individual! I did not come to the decision to go to Lanier Urgent Care lightly! I had antibiotics, I had anti-inflammatories, I had prescription nasal spray, and had recent blood work so therefore I had a diagnosis! But I am in severe pain! I begrudgingly broke down paying out of pocket, and asked Lanier Urgent Care for Help, which I was denied! This female PA came into the room and after I had explained my situation to her, including the fact that I have now Literally been sick for Over a Month, she denied me care! She never even once physically touched my body to evaluate my pain, look at my tonsils, check any glands or nodes, look in my ears ect., Nothing, unless you count the contact that your supposed "support dog" gave my foot! She told me that she would give me a shot of antibiotics and because I had an allergy to the pain meds that she would prescribe, that she would not write one for a substitute! As I mentioned before, I did not come to my decision lightly, it was money that I really couldn't afford to pay especially due to the fact that I have to go every 3 months to my own Dr. for my health issues, and I am quite pain tolerant! I was literally in tears and the PA's assistant just told me to give her my butt cheek for the antibiotic shot, to take a breath in so it would hurt less, which is pointless because I can't feel that part of my body due to severe nerve damage, and says "okay you're all done!" Absolutely 0 compassion or empathy from her, and as I exited the exam room still in tears I stopped to asked the PA if I had to check out, which she could not understand my first attempt of asking due to my trying to talk over tears, I then repeated my question and she said "nope you're all done, have a nice day!" Seriously! I'm in tears because I'm in pain and know I am going to continue to have to suffer because I am allergic to the pain med that she would have prescribed, but would not prescribe the one that I can take, and let me just say I wasn't asking for a stronger med, I was asking for a safer medication for myself! These people cared so little for me that they had the audacity to not care that I was in tears due to pain, desperation, and the $125 I paid for a pointless shot of antibiotics, they cared so little for me that they never even examined me; Then have the audacity to basically act like bullies and tell me to have a nice day as if they were laughing in my face due to the fact that there were tears streaming down my face! They never asked if I were okay, inquiry as to why I was crying, nothing! Thanks Lanier Urgent Care for basically stealing my money, not even caring enough to do your job and examine me, wasting my time and causing me more pain, and also making me feel traumatized by bullies and triggering my PTSD! You advertise and pledge your dedication to pt's, you say that your entire goal of your establishment is to cater to your pt's ensuring that they're well cared for and that they Feel cared about! I can tell you right now I was traumatized by the experience I had at your establishment and you managed to do so w/out even a single Touch from any of Your so called care providers! What a wonderful surprise... responsive, professional, clean, personable. I couldn't have asked for anything better. Promptly attended to upon arrival. Only 2 forms to complete. What? Only two??? Yep. Sweet. Fast! Ashley may be your first encounter, dont be scared, shes as nice as can be. Next up was Margo with your vitals, BP, temperature, etc. Asks whats up and computerizes it. Then Dr Perry, now this is all in 10 minutes ( I would still be at check-in at my regular Doctors office). Dr. Perry asks what going on. Listens. Checks your chest, throat, etc. Then sits down and actually talks to about what he thinks is going on, what his course of action is, and has a dialog with you. What? sits down and talks to you, yep. 2 minutes later Josh comes, another really personable member of their team. Loosens you up with some friendly conversation and draws some blood, well done too. A couple of minutes later Dr Perry comes back in with the blood results, and a puppy, and explains what the numbers means to him. He takes the time to explains all the results, how awsome is that. Says he will have Josh give me a shot and what I should expect. Poof, Josh is back in, shot delivered with some new cute tricks to get patients to relax. Very cool. And bam, I'm done. Less than 30 minutes done. One price! What? Yep. Lets review. New patient form. Check. Insurance, or not. Check Vital data. Check Doctor meet. Check Blood drawn. Check Blood results done. Check Doctor review with you with full explaination and a puppy. Check Shot delivered. Check One price. Check Don't get no better! read more

I ended up going here Fathers Day due to a UTI. I have never been to a place where the staff was so friendly and helpful. In and out of there in less than 45 min, and most of that was doing my paper work. I hope I don't have to go very often, but if I ever have to go back, it will be there. The front desk was super friendly and pleasant to deal with, the young lady who took my temperature and ended up giving me a shot was awesome and the Doctor was super nice and really cared about how I was doing. So thankful for Courtney and the wonderful staff today, 11-20-22, here. My husband has been sick with bronchitis for a week and twice has been to urgent cares centers supposedly open on Sunday but upon arrival a small "closed" sign. Lanier Urgent Care answered the phone, gave us a wait time that was actually shorter than anticipated. He managed to get a chest X-ray, breathing treatments, shot and four prescriptions sent in all within an hour. I can't say enough about how kind and efficient everyone was. I am so grateful during this crazy sickness season to be treated so well. read more

This location is as amazing as the one in Suwanee where I go. My mother is very allergic to insect venom. She was stung on both hands yesterday. Courtney and staff were extremely attentive and kept her there until she was stable, checking on her constantly. The facility is amazing and my parents prefer it to others in the area. Dr. Perry really knows how to run an urgent care. He somehow manages to balance short wait time while still giving time to the patient. We love the therapy dogs too! read more

This is an awesome group of professionals. My daughter is in Gainesville attending college and while at work started having some symptoms that worried her enough to call me. I told her to go to Urgent care and this was the closest to where she was. Within about 30 minutes our mind was at rest finding it was nothing to be alarmed about. I love this place. Wonderful customer service. All the PA's are Wonderful. They get you in very quick. They take the time to listen to you. They don't just treat and street there patients. They take care of there patients. They have support dogs to help with stress and anxiety patients. They even see patients that don't have insurance. Self pay is 175.00 and that covers the entire vist. I recommend this doctor's office to everyone I know. read more

I went into the location with a friend and the customer service was amazing from start to finish. The timeliness and professionalism was incredible, the cleanliness and atmosphere was calming and there didn't leave her waiting for hours before she was seen. Twice I have had a medical non emergency issue to arise. Dr. Perry expertly took care of them. One with a piece of metal deep inside my eye and today with a severely pained left knee. I visited LUC yesterday for the first time. I have to say that it did not seem like, what I would call, a regular doctor's office. The waiting room was large, bright and had a comfortable atmosphere. The entire staff was top notch and I was treated like a person, not just another patient herded through like cattle. Dr. Perry was great and spot on with his diagnosis. This was my second time at this urgent care. U r seen quickly and the Nurses r very sweet and caring. The therapy dogs r so awesome. They make your pain a little less. The dogs r gentle. Went there with a runny nose and aches, which came to be the flu precursor. The Dr provided me with tamiflu and an antibiotic in case it got worse. After 2 days, no more problems! Didn't even need to take the antibiotic! They got me in quick, especially since I came in an hour before closing! Was out with my Rx within 20 minutes total. Great job guys read more

It was Sunday and I needed to be seen by a doctor for a respiratory infection. I walked into Lanier Urgent Care. The office was very clean, modern with an efficient friendly staff. I was seen quickly and after my situation was assessed I was given an injection and prescriptions. I would highly recommend Lanier Urgent Care if you need help! read more

This place is a joke. They refused to see my 85 year old mother because they will not take a check for the 50 dollar copay. She has great insurance. Told them i would be back in the morning to pay the copay but they refused treatment for her. Will not go to this place never for anything. People that work they just don't care. D savage read more

Very good experience. Was in and out in 30 minutes. The PA was very attentive and explained what was going in pretty good detail. The receptionist was nice and the waiting room was clean.
