Very honest and knowledgeable ..about health and to the point .Its nice to find a doctor that listens to you and not rushed

I live in Murphy part time and chose Dr. Tah because of his extensive background. I have been to see him several times and have been very impressed from the office staff to the nursing staff and Dr Tah himself. They are all personable and professional. I am a nurse and feel very comfortable in his care. He has well rounded knowledge and is up to date on current treatments and medications. He spends enough time with me and listens. Ive just today left DR Tah's practice. the staff are great but DR.Tah himself dosent want to do much of anything for you, had rather farm you out to specialist for the most simple things. for instance i wanted a cortisone injection in my knee due to inflamation from both arthritus (and) bursitus. he refused. i have nueropathy in both feet,was on 400mg of gabupentin for two yrs,began to develope a tolerance,so he upped me to 600mg. but told me if i ever needed upped to 800mg would have to see a nuerologist,and that gabupentin isnt really intended to be perscribed for all nueropathy. I came hone,call my drugstore,asked what the no.1 medicine perscribed for nueropathy is, and he quickly told me gabupentin. hes also quite rude when you disagree with him, wants you to have no say in your own healthcare. The Dr office refused to see me because I'm not an established patient. The lady at the front office who is in charge of scheduling was strictly unprofessional with how she handled it. She was laughing at me somehow thinking it was funny saying "you can't just hop around like that" when all I needed was medical clearance for a surgery. my main doctor couldn't see me until the end of the month. Then proceeded to wait until the MORNING of to call and tell me she's cancelling my appointment. If this was the case, why did they schedule me in the first place? read more
