You have a set price, and that gets you unlimited starters, an dthere is a list to choose from, and that also gets you unlimited mains, with an even bigger list to choose from. I ordered a few at a time because I didn't want to be perceived as an animal, but if I had my way, I would have ordered all of them at one go. Everything is cooked fresh and nothing takes more than five minutes to get to your table. This isn't the greatest Chinese I have had, but is of a decent standard and nothing was too oily. What a great deal, eat as much as you like! Though if you did not want to go for the set unlimited menu, you can also eat and order in the traditional manor. It is not the best looking restaurant in the world, a little dated inside and out.

The food is pretty run of the mill and nothing really great. It is what you might say mainstream Chinese. The service was good and very polite. The decor is abit run down though so you don't get much of an atmosphere and might feel over dressed it you made an effort to look good. I am going to give this place just one star not because of the price, menu or service; but for the fact that it really is nothing special and as I appreciate nice surroundings this place is really rather dingy.

Delicious Sunday Buffet…read more The sign said £6.95 for vegetarian or £7.95 for a meat buffet with 14 dishes. We were walking past Broomfield Park looking for a place for lunch and were naturally drawn in. We were greeted by a member of staff, turned out to be the owner, and were sat at next to a fountain with goldfish after requesting better seats. The restaurant is a bit dated and has a shrine to cricket with a signed picture of Sanath Jayasuriya, former captain of the Sri Lankan cricket team at the bar. The ambience was peaceful and helped by the traditional Indian music with no vocals. It reminded me of the cinema adverts they had for local tandooris in the 1990s. We were eager to eat and quickly started in the 14 dishes which included a tandoori chicken, a korma chicken, a lamb vindaloo that was slightly spicy, a prawn curry that tasted fresh and was delicious, some Saag vegetarian dishes with cabbage, Spanish and potato, a curry made from sweet corn which was unusually good, a very tasty narn which was fresh and slightly sweet like peshwari, rice, onion baji and fried aubergine. We tried each and every dish and found them all to be very tasty. In general most are creamy and not oily at all and my mouth waters thinking about the food. Those who want very spicy food will be very disappointed as this is not spicy at all. I was a bit shocked to read a previous review that it had no flavour because every dish tasted good. The staff kept refilling the dishes regularly and were open and friendly. They were dressed down which was good as it just made you feel relaxed. It's odd that people don't write more about this place. It was half full when we went with people coming in to order takeaway as well. It deserves more to be said and I look forward to my next Sunday Indian lunch here.

You say "I want sweet and sour chicken but mashed up inside yogurt and splattered all over rice, and the crammed inside of ice cream", and then they go out and do it. Seriously, this place is amazing. Just so much food. More duck, chicken and beef than you could throw a cow at. Bundles of endless food; and you know you've paid your set price so you make the most of it. For some reason, when you go to a buffet place you get full up after one plate but admit it after two. But with Dynasty, where they stagger portions by every fifteen minutes or so, you could literally eat your way to China. No food is enough, nobody ever says no. And in the evening you go home with chronic obesity. I'm sure there are other restaurants like this, but I don't go out much so I wouldn't know. For me, this is a great place to get a meal. In fact, a great place to get about twenty meals in two hours. DO IT!.

Unlike a…read morelot of buffets, Dynasty's cuisine is delicious, just what you'd expect from a traditional Chinese restaurant, with the added bonus of having an all inclusive menu, and the luxury of the food being delivered to your table. There is a huge selection of food offered, with everyone competently catered for. The appetisers are particularly tempting; with all the classic take away favourites (think prawn toast, spare ribs and fried seaweed). There is also a good soup selection, followed by duck, lamb or both and main courses. The restaurant doesn't have a snobbery about offering tap water to customers, with waiters that have jugs at hand and I was impressed that my glass was refilled without having to ask. This establishment is one of my favourites and I highly recommend it.

A throwback to the royal luxuries of the Mughal empire, this converted pump house has been turned…read moreinto a stunning space. I would honestly come here just to marvel at the opulence. With sky high-ceilings held up by towering blue columns and chandeliers suspending curtains of heavy fabrics, the venue is actually quite breath-taking. With shades of dark blue and gold detailing on the magnificent staircase, it is truly beautiful. Now on to the food. We came here on a weekday for the buffet which was large in quantity. It was rather what you would expect of an Indian buffet - quantity over quality. The food was very much average, something that you would expect out of a TV Indian dinner. A lot of the food was not heated continuously so it being cold took a lot away from the flavor as well. A lot of the dishes I wanted to try which were on the website were missing. To be fair, they did say the dishes rotate and that they won't have everything on. The desserts were all cream, jello, and fruit based and nothing I had ever seen/heard of. The beautiful ice cream selection shown on their website was completely missing as well. However, we got half price off the buffet so the whole dining experience (with drinks) was around 8 quid each! Still a steal for a night out. FYI: The place is dry as it's hallal. The drinks were quite overpriced - not even the mocktails but a simple soda. They have a food wastage surcharge of 5 quid which is not a bad idea as it means they save their food. However, they should really make this more obvious to a diner as its only listed at the bottom of the menu in small letters. I definitely think this place has potential for catering or a group party where they can showcase less of their dishes at a higher level of quality. However, the bathrooms are pretty appalling.

The service was ok, nothing spectacular, as the waiters did not seem too over-friendly nor unfriendly. I was particularly amused at the prices on the menu considering the fact that Leytonstone is one of those East London towns where value for money is definately something shop-owners concentrate on to beat the competition. For a standard dinner set with drink I was looking at £15-25 (per head), this would include 1 rice, 1 curry, 1 nan and a bottle of beer. Next door you could have a meal for 2 for that price. By this point of the review, you probably think I'm a scrooge or something, but I just believe in value for money. If a restaurants meal, service and atmosphere all went nicely then I wouldn't mind taking/prying out 100 quid from my wallet (even though a few flies would flutter out first). BUT, the food was very average. I had the Rogan Josh which was in a very small portion (just less than a handful) and all my collegues dishes were a similar size. Taste-wise, they got all the flavours right, but I've definately had better for cheaper elsewhere. All in all, I feel that Barburchi probably belongs in the City of London where the richer people could pay more for less and probably still write good reviews for it.

This place is the bomb for good reasonably priced Rodizio…read more Having tried one in Clapham Rodizio Brazil and absolutely hating it, even I didn't really know why I was risking this again. But this place highlights why you could never tarnish every business with the same brush. It set a new standard. We were the first here for dinner and whilst the son of the owner was a little quiet at first, he was perfectly polite and let us get seated. After taking our drinks order which was two soft drinks (they have the lovely Guarana) we set about eating some salads and other buffet starters. The rice was cooked perfectly, as were the pork/beans and pinto beans. There was cassava pieces, and some yummy cheese puff things that were extremely addictive along with chickpeas, salads, salsa, fries and other things. It wasn't a huge selection for a rodizio, but it was a concise and allowed us to try everything. It was all really good. As we started eating, the meat started arriving. It isn't the card up/down thing here, and it isn't staggered in evenly spaced 10-15 minute intervals. The staff here are very mindful of how far you'll likely be through your food and when you'd probably like some more. You can also always ask for a particular meat you want more of, and they'll helpfully bring more of it out. It was rare to find them return to the kitchen with any meat on their skewers. They would normally take just the right amount out depending on the number of people dining. And might I add, it was all very fresh. No tough chewy dried meats here. Speaking to the staff, it's because they roast all the meat on a charcoal spit. Meaning it remains tender and succulent. The chicken was the most tender meat I've ever eaten. It was well charred on the outside, but it was almost like it was steamed from the inside. There was no pinkness near the bone that you would normally attribute to a piece of meat cooked this gently. Amazing. The meat courses delivered to us were spicy sausage, chicken drumsticks, chicken heart, pork, pork ribs and maybe a few more chicken/pork dishes I can't remember. As non beef eaters, we missed out on quite a few courses that I kind of regret a little, but makes this place all the better for you beef eaters out there. These were beef short ribs, beef Picanha, and maybe one or two more beef dishes I can't remember. The only thing really missing was Lamb. But the chicken was so good, I pretty much substituted that for the beef rounds, having 3 in total and they aren't small! Dinner is coming to a close when they see you're kind of stuffed and you're served some grilled pineapple. This was good. If only they'd cut all the black bits out. On a side note I noticed the groupon voucher mentioned banana fritters. I asked the staff, and I expected a little resistance, them saying perhaps, it wasn't on the menu tonight or similar, but they immediately said they'd check with the kitchen in a few seconds later, confirmed it would be ready in 5-10 minutes. Lovely responsive service. I believe the mother was in the kitchen making this, and it was quite nice to be able to see from the doorway the actual fresh bananas being taken from atop the fridge, hearing the chopping and mixing of the batter... They were really good, with a breadcrumb type batter compared to the normal pancake type. The bananas were a bit firm, but to be honest I like them like this. Dessert was a brazillian puddim. Which is a little like an egg custard tart and creme brulee. It was a delicious rich end to a meal that left us stuffed and certainly a few kgs heavier. In all, it was a lovely evening out with homely brazillian food. The place I'm told had only been open for a year and I was surprised it wasn't busier to be honest. Food of this quality just deserves more attention. I'd certainly be back even at full price. One place they could start is with menus in English on their website. I was told that was being worked on too. If you're around Stamford Hill with an appetite. I now have a place I can wholeheartedly recommend.
