Good but not great is what I would do to summarize this place. We came here when it was a pop up at Progress on Main. They set up in the back and he was pretty sweet how the setup was order in the back, grab a drink, eat. That's more about Progress than Chau though. Food - yakitori is always expensive. This place was $8 for 3 skewers and not gonna lie, they were good. Not sure they were $8 for 3 good. Tasty and grilled over pure binchotan charcoal, the char was great as was the seasoning. You can choose any combination of proteins, we did chicken, pork and beef. I thought beef would be the favorite but chicken actually was. Service - they're nice but they also screwed up our order. I asked for 3 3 skewer sets, each with chicken, beef and pork. In hindsight I should have order 1 3 chicken 1 3 pork 1 3 beef, but I digress. They unfortunately heard, "1 3 skewer". At least that's what the cashier heard. The other two heard what I meant and instead of asking and confirming, they just assumed cashier was right. We ended up waiting for the order to come out and then having to wait again for the remainder. Overall pretty good. I would go again to support the business if they were at Progress again, but I don't think I'd go out of my way to find them.

Thank You So much for servicing my mom's Celebration of Life. The set up was fantastic and on time,…read morethe food was yummy, and the Charcuterie boards were beautifully displayed. The Spicy/Sweet teriyaki meat balls were a hit! The team was friendly and professional. I'm only to sorry to say no one took pics of the food, I just heard so many compliments during and after the celebration. Bravo n 10 stars for sure!!!!!!

Our reception venue unfortunately cancelled on us within ~3 months of the wedding and when updating Jeremy & Jessica to let them know that the reception venue would be changing, without us asking, they immediately began reaching out to venues to help us out which was so unexpected and greatly appreciated. We attended a tasting which was very well-organized and made our selections for both the cocktail hour and dinner. We have guests still raving about the food months later! For cocktail hour, we selected the grilled cheese bites with tomato soup, beef wellington bites (this was especially a big hit), and bruschetta. For dinner, we had the ricotta, herb, & spinach ravioli as a vegetarian option, salmon with a lemon dill beurre blanc sauce, and filet mignon with garlic butter. We also had some guests who were vegan or had allergies and Cutting Edge was able to work with us to accommodate them easily. The sides and starter salad were delicious as well - highly recommend the whipped potatoes as one of your sides! Beyond the food being great, working with the Cutting Edge Catering team was wonderful. Jeremy and Jessica went above and beyond and made us feel like we were taken care of every step of the way. Thank you again!!
