In March 2022 we had a big family brunch for my daughter's 13th birthday. When the guest list got to around 40 people I knew making brunch and visiting with out of town family was not going to happen with that many people. I reached out to several places but Chef Dave's was the most responsive, respectful, and helpful! Booking with them was the best choice I made. The food was delicious (and im not a fan of breakfast food)! Every guest raved about how good it was. They handled set up and clean up was minimal and easy. Blown away by the service!! I ordered the wedding pasta with an server for a wedding anniversary party. The service and food was amazing and on time. The server Cheryl was very professional and prompt to make sure the flow of service went smooth. My aunt and uncle were beyond grateful and impressed how everything went for their party. Had lunch here earlier this week... upon entering at 12pm I was a little worried. From the outside, you'd never know it was a restaurant because it sits in the middle of an industrial plaza. But we tried it after seeing a review of it online. We had the Turkey bacon avocado croissant sandwich and the jerk beef sandwich. The TBLT was pretty damm tasty but the jerk sandwich was absolutely delicious. It was spicy, sweet and so flavorful. Each sandwich was $7 and came with a small side of fruit. Not too bad for a decent lunch! Just don't get scared away by the actual location. read more

Chef Dave and Ana did our rehearsal dinner and wedding reception on April 6th and 7th. Their prices are great, their food is amazing, and the best part is that we didn't have to worry about anything: the entire setup, service, and tear-down for both events happened without any input from us. We did a buffet for the rehearsal dinner; there was plenty of food, it was delicious, and I especially liked the extra decorations that showed up on the buffet table. It helped to dress up the room, since our focus was on the reception the next day. We did a plated dinner for the reception, and the food was hot, served quickly, and delicious. We are still hearing compliments about the food that was served, and many of our guests have expressed that it was the best food that they have ever had at a wedding. After much consideration of various catering companies we decided to hire Chef Dave's Catering. I can't begin to tell you what a wonderful choice this turned out to be. The quality of the service and the food was spectacular and the prices were very reasonable. Had them cater a corporate event for 40 people. The food was fantastic. They arrived on time and had a very professional presentation for the food. The chicken and beef tacos were excellent. My only complaint is that they brought ice tea for 45 people and only brought one pitcher and not enough cups. They had a brownie and cookie platter that tasted great. Chef Dave catered my mother's 90th birthday party and the food was amazing. My mother was born and raised in Indonesia and we were raised on Indonesian food. So we wanted to have food that would celebrate her life and her ethnicity. Chef Dave had not prepared the items we were looking for in the past but sat down with me and helped prepare a menu of some of my mom's Indo favorites. He spoke to me about flavor types of foods and looked up recipes on line. All the food for the party was amazing. Many of my relatives thought the food had been prepared by an actual Indonesian Chef. Most importantly, my mother was thrilled with the food and touched that so much time an effort was made for her special day. What makes Chef Dave so exceptional is that he prepared food that he was not used to and hit it out of the ballpark. He was open and has an amazing talent. My company held an awards breakfast for about 30 at this location. It was incredible! The restaurant was closed to the public. Linen table clothes, fantastic buffet breakfast. The food was fabulous! The location is a bit hard to find with construction on Haven, but it was well worth finding. I would eat here again and would definitely have another company function here. i have used this place about 6 or 7 times for catering will not call anyone else. the food is some of the best i have ever had even compared a nice restaurant and that is saying a lot considering it has to be made then drove to the venue. still all ways hot and fresh. you can tell the time that is spent on each and every dish, for example i had a turkey bacon and avocado sandwich today. im not a big lettuce guy so i open it up to take it off and seen that the tomato's had been salted and fresh crack pepper put on them. might not sound like much but it goes to show the care they put in to each and every thing they make. the antipasto salad that came with was AMAZING the small sun dried tomato's in there where small pieces of heaven lol. long story shot give them a call you will not regret it. PS i asked them how small of a party i need to have catering he said i only need 10 witch is way less then normal. read more
