From the outside, you think small pet shop...but wait till you step inside... I believe theirs a total of 5 to 6 different roons to explore. On to the store, theres a section for pet food, gift shop, tortoises, birds, reptiles, fish, a store cat, cat for adoption, hermit crabs . If I lived out near the store, and had pets this would be my pet shop to frequent. Excellent customer service, very helpful staff that kept check in on us. She had terrible customer service and was extremely difficult to encounter during my visit. One of the owners told us we could do a full return and ended up blowing off the employees to a phone call to confirm he said that when we drove over an hour to do so. Every other employee was friendly and welcoming during our experiences at this location, but we will not be back due to the lack of communication and service of the owners, and the blonde employee we sadly had to encountered today. Very disgusting to be treated that way for over a total of $600 purchase.

That was a total lie because we finally called to find out why it was taking so long and they responded that they were almost done. My husband flew up there and they charged $10.00 more saying we didn't pick him up until late. He responded " I came immediately from Jamestown to Lakewood. I didn't have an airplane to fly here !". Absolutely terrible business and we'll NEVER use them again!

However, the location on French Rd was very disappointing. I don't know if they were just starting out or closing but they only had plants and fish, nothing else. The tanks were filthy, with lots having dead fish in them. I purchased a large snail for $8 and as soon as I got it home, acclimated it to my tank, it died. Not even alive a day. Worse, the purchase was not rung in a register- it was cash, so no receipt, and no return. Again don't know what was going on but if they are open , I would never go there again in the condition everything was in.
