My case was, in fact, dismissed -- but once it came time to honor the refund, I was suddenly told that her "boss" didn't approve it. That condition was never mentioned before payment. This feels like a bait-and-switch. I paid for services that were never delivered, and now they're refusing to do the right thing. This isn't just bad customer service -- it's unethical. They took advantage of someone in a vulnerable legal situation and showed no accountability when called out. I will be filing a formal complaint with the State Bar of Texas for unethical conduct and mishandling of client funds. Future clients: protect yourself.
