Our outfits were amazing, we received so many compliments. They had great customer service and worked with us

    Scam overcharged me

I would give zero stars if I could. Not an honest store. They scammed me. I bought a jewelry set original price was $65 he said he would sell to me for $60 which I think is still overpriced and double what I could get on Amazon but I needed it quick so I bought from here. I also paid $30 for alteration. But when I returned home I saw that he charged me $97.88. That's way more than the expected amount I agreed to pay. When I tried to call back to the store, they ignored my calls. No point wasting gas to go out there to try to get my money back. But I would stay away. Their clothes are ugly and dull anyways. ON TOP OF THAT. When I asked for the alteration they said it will take me a week to be done, and when I said no I'll go to the Chinese store down the street that only charges $10 for 15 mins he said ok they will get it done in 15mins just to get me to stay and purchase from them. Like how the ef you switch up so quick like that. Poor business practice. This place needs to be shut down.

My sister is getting married in two weeks and we needed to find our Salwar suits. The shop is very tidy and they have many option from sizes 38 to 46. My sisters friend who will be a guest was also with us and I did like that the gentleman behind the counter offered advice on what a guest should wear vs what family of the bride should wear. It was helpful and guided us to choose what we ended up going with. However I didn't like that we explained our price points and weren't told numbers until we were up at the register. The price was over double then what we mentioned (knowing the price would go up). My Sulwar was $250 and after talking to relatives (in law) that seemed reasonable for all the beading and design. My sisters friend who is wearing a less formal design as a guest spent $238. I think she was taken advantage of and left feeling a bit she'll shocked. I understand this can be customary and a shopping experience like this is somewhat normal but just thought I'd give a honest view of the shopping experience here! Also, man who works here wasn't wearing a mask and it gave a uneasy feeling. I think 3 stars is a fair review as I do like my suit and found what I was looking for but we also had a couple reasons for feeling less then completely happy with our experience.

    Misaligned bodice. Crazy bad.

Poor customer service from everyone except the nice lady. Tailor did a bad job on the alterations on a dress we bought here. 1. It was three inches too short 2. The dress had a brand new stain 3. The bodice is misaligned. When we mentioned this the guy said the fit is fine and that the stain was not from them. We bought the dress from them. How was the stain not from them? Insane. Our only option to fix it was to drive around town and look for matching material to lengthen the skirt. What the hell? Also, they claim to have Sabyasachi clothing but are not a listed partner on their website. Very likely these are replicas. Horrible experience. Absolutely do not recommend unless you want to waste your time. Also, they are very rude when you ask any questions. I asked about a sherwani and one of the guys just yelled a price at me as he walked away. The icing on the cake is having the owner call us and shout at us after I left the review. If the owner wants to fight me live on PPV I will happily oblige.

Pros: Good prices Alterations are done reasonably fast Cons: Pushy service (you will be followed the whole time) Lack of organization Lack of cleanliness (clothes are just all over the floor while waiting to be altered) This location needs to work more on professionalism, organization and cleanliness. None of the associates here know what is going on. They should have some type of system that allows them to know who bought what items and what is being altered. I stopped by today to pick up an outfit after it was being altered. The lady looked at me like she had never seen me before and told me to check on the rack. All the racks are put together so who knows which have already been sold or are still available. I was just happy that it was done and ready to go. However, they don't have any bags. They should invest in some bags of some sort maybe even with their logo. Kind of disappointing to have spent a few hundred dollars and be given a dress in a old used plastic bag. Other than that the guys at the front were kind and helpful & I would only stop by if I needed a dress quickly. Called today do ask if they had jewelry and they hung up on me.

I reached out on insta and they said I could come in anytime during normal business hours. I decided to pop in on Black Friday and all the clothing was 30% off! I ended up buying a really cute pant and sweatshirt set! I can't wait to find the right occasion to wear it to! My shopping experience was great. I was welcomed in, got champagne and was offered a refill and treated like royalty! I'll be honest I had never even heard of this store before. It's located in east sac and is very easy to miss. Now that I know where it is.. I will be back!! I do have a few suggestions.. make the website less confusing. To me it looked like you had to book something to shop like it wasn't just a store you could come in to. If I thought this I'm sure other people think the same. My second suggestion would be utilize social media more. I think this store has such beautiful things but my entire tribe group didn't know it existed! Thank you for the hostility, and I will be back!

I visited the shop before, and they often have new dresses, so it's definitely worth a visit! They also sell plenty of accessories, including hair clips, purses, hats, and even a pair of shoes! But truly, my favorite part is they have a sale rack with great dresses! And also, if you're pressed for time and you really need a birthday card, they also have those along with gift cards. Located off the busy street of Folsom in the heart of East Sacramento. Definitely worth a visit!

Visiting from out of state my sister and I wanted to hit up downtown sac for some boutiques and…read morethrifts. We came across Wild Poppy Co. and stepped in to check them out. The lady working, Summer, immediately greeted us while finishing up her chat with some other shoppers. Once they left it was only my sister Jamie and I remaining in the shop. Summer approached with the typical ice breaking questions...."how are you? What are you shopping for?" Our response "Good, thank you, we're only looking." As we were thumbing threw hangers, anything my sister touched Summer was right there to size and style her. Grabbing more than what my sister was looking at and setting up a dressing room for her. Anytime Jamie would ask me something, Summer would answer for me while piling more clothes into the dressing room Summer decided she needed. Fast forward to cashing out, Jamie ended up with 6 items, 2 of the items she was unsure of and felt pushed into getting. But figured she'll return them if needed. Three days later Jamie decides she wants to return the two items, so we head back down to Wild Poppy Co. We get there, we're at the register with the owner of Wild Poppy Co. Everything was cool until the owner pulled out a gift card. Jamie hesitated a little and asked if she could get her money back. Leaving in two days to fly back to the east coast, a gift card was not useful for her. And buying more of their product didn't sit comfortably with either of us. The owner explained their return policy (10 days to return an item and money spent on that item you will get back on a gift card) and when Jamie had shared that wasn't part of Summers conversation with us, the Owner reassured us (gaslight tf outta of us) that "Summer is usually really good at telling people the return policy." It was obvious that we both were uncomfortable in the lack of regard provided by the owner. Jamie left with a gift card to a store that neither of us, and hopefully others, will not be returning to. If mean-girls from high-school is your vibe, this is your store!
