I booked an appointment in advance for my mom to get a massage. When I tried to book, the front desk person asked if she could call back and then called back two hours later. Thankfully I was not booking same day. Day of, I provide my credit card information over the phone to pay in advance because it is policy. No problem. I pay for it and my mom was going to pay tip. She tipped the front desk person for her masausse and paid for the massage AGAIN (and a more expensive two hour massage too!) and did not provide a receipt. When I called the store denied this and said she only paid tip ...$160 dollar tip??... Then I was told she will check the cameras but my mom only paid tip etc. & that she only handed my mom an envelope. Then I was told she would call me back again. So I drove over there to resolve in person. The front desk person charged my mom for somebody else's massage... but for the policy being to pay before service this really doesn't make too much sense. Ultimately they processed a return for me but the front desk person was answering calls while trying to fix the situation therefore wasting more of my time. My mom LOVED her massage but I'm skeptical to have her return as the situation didn't feel like a genuine mistake due to the lack of remorse and urgency to solve it. Went in on a Saturday afternoon after a long week at work. I got a 2 HOUR MASSAGE and asked for Vicky or Jasmine. Both were unavailable. So, Penny paired me up with Noon. It was probably one of the worst massages I've ever had. I asked for MEDIUM pressure and she gave me HARD the ENTIRE time after asking SEVERAL times to ease up. On a few occasions I even asked her to stop. She's apologize and then continue on with the same pressure. She was so rough and moved so quickly. I felt like she was rushing through the entire massage. It was NOT a relaxing massage AT ALL. As a matter of fact, I walked out of there with a slight headache. She was also 10 minutes LATE and finished 5 minutes EARLY. My body actually hurts. Her elbows were so sharp and she was digging into my back, shoulders, and neck - it was absolutely horrible. I complained to Penny after the massage and after reluctantly tipping the girl, and Penny said "oh no, did you tell her?" I said, "yes, several times." and she said, "oh.... have a nice day." seriously? have a nice day??? Also, I was asked to pay for the massage and asked if I wanted to tip BEFORE services were rendered. Strange. This was not the practice the last time I got a massage there.
