The sales guy would have done a fine job of helping us find one, except he kept having us try expensive options. He didn't ignore us which is better than most sales people. Then when we wanted to look elsewhere he moved onto high pressure sales tactics. I didn't like that right there. Tried to find out if we would buy if he would take $1000 off the price of the mattress. That tells me they inflate their prices A LOT. After we left I discovered the same mattress was regularly $500 cheaper on their website. I especially don't deal with pricing games like that. Give me your best price, not one you want to see if I'll pay.

They were very friendly and efficient. I have mixed feelings about my experience with this store. While I appreciate the unique and customizable options, I'm very disappointed with the lack of honest communication on the quality in the quality of the Ameco brand furniture, particularly the overpriced bar stools. The return policy is also not customer-friendly. I found better-quality products with a fair return policy for half the price. My only option was a partial store credit with a high restocking fee. I'm frustrated and won't be recommending this store after my experience with the customer service. I had to call multiple times to get someone to come out to fix my issues which weren't fixable because the quality was absolutely horrible.

I couldn't disassemble the bed because I recently had back surgery. The lead man acted like he didn't like having to disassemble the bed. He removed the mattress and lifted the frame and noticed cobwebs on the bed. He said my bed was infested and I needed to get an exterminator. The bed is bug free and the is 9 years old. He said he couldn't move it then called me filthy several times. I cancelled my order immediately and won't buy from them again!!!

I have two experiences with Bed Mart…read more My first experience was in 2009 where I purchased a new mattress and headboard. The employees were helpful, though I was also put off by the trash talking that was geared towards PayLess Furniture. This experience went off without a hitch, fast delivery, fast set up of my new furniture. No problems whatsoever! I still have the mattress and headboard and they're still fantastic. My second experience was in 2011. My partner and I wished to purchase a new bed. My old mattress was great, but we wanted something even better! We dealt with one salesman who was polite, knowledgeable, friendly, and at the perfect level of being helpful without being pushy or overbearing. He knew exactly when to walk away and when to come back and chat with us again. He was great! However, we weren't ready to purchase that day because we wished to check around at other furniture places to make comparable prices and quality checklists. He gave us a short list of prices on the mattress, headboard and frame and we went on our way quite happy with the experience. We came back another time and we were fully committed to purchase everything. Sadly, the mattress we wanted was sold out, but the salesguy said they might be able to order another one. The woman who works there jumped in and said that was NOT possible and all that was left was the floor model. She then took over and wrote down a quote--the mattress was the same price as our last visit but this time it was for the floor model. I said this wasn't good enough, I expected a discount on floor models but the woman would not budge an inch. She said she paid full price for the mattress, lowered the price, and if she sold it for less than the quote she gave me she'd lose money. To add further insult to her refusal to negotiate, she also informed us the price labeled on the headboard we were interested in was wrong and it should have been $50 more expensive. I'm not sure how that's my problem, the price is clearly marked on the furniture itself so if it's wrong you shouldn't turn around and try to make me pay for your mistake. However, I doubt the labeled price has changed since my visit. If you plan to go to Bed Mart, don't speak to the older lady (the boss?) who works there. If it hadn't been for her terrible behavior--which I would describe as dirty car salesperson tactics, then we would have walked out with a new bed and headboard set. The other salesman did absolutely nothing wrong and if they work on commission then it's unfortunate that the woman cost him a sale.

At first the associate asked if she could help. i don't wear foundation often so i thought id ask if she recommended anything. the foundation she recommended. we sat down and tried it on my skin, the product that she put on my face caused my skin to break out. she then proceeded to bring more products over trying to upsell me, in the beginning it was fine but she continued to give me compliments as if trying to get me to buy more products. i told her i need to check pricing to see if it was in budget. then she continued to show different products. i chose to just get a skincare product that she recommended which works great! when we got to the register she said that because i am over 18 she could give me 35% off without explaining that i would be signing up for a credit card. Which was very discouraging that she wouldn't explain and would degrade me for not wanting to "save" money. Love the store but that was extremely frustrating.

Stopped in for the first time in a couple of decades yesterday to look for some casual dress shirts…read moreand jeans. During my 30 minutes in store, I never saw an associate on the floor. The selection of short sleeve button ups was greatly lacking, yet signs everywhere urging you to go online to shop. If I wanted to buy online, I'd have stayed at home, I want to try on my clothes before paying. I did find a selection of jeans that were $50 marked down to $34.99. I checked to make sure the sign matched the brand and style of jeans that I had selected and finally found the un-marked dressing rooms. Perfect fit. At the register the jeans rang up for $50; when I told the clerk that the sign said different, she just shrugged and said"sorry". Well so am I, I'm sorry you had to restock the jeans and I'm sorry that I wasted my time in your store...it won't happen again.
