Yuri called to say he was on the way and to locate us exactly. He had to get creative getting the car pulled up from the burm because of the angle of the car to the road, the fact that one side of the car was high-centered on a log, the front end was stuck in wet grass & mud, the amount of traffic that was still flowing even though we were well off the road, and the fact that he had a flatbed vs a traditional tow. It took awhile, but he clearly knew what he was doing. He was calm & friendly. He communicated with me like I had a brain which, as a woman when dealing with traditional "man" stuff, is often not the case. I appreciated that. I'd give 100 stars if allowed. Coming from the office last night, hungry and tired. In the lane to get on to the highway when my car died! What?! all the lights came on my dash like an unwelcome christmas tree ornament. I was able to restart and drove to the nearest parking lot of a Target. my check engine light was on. No way was I making the trek across the Tacoma Narrows Bridge and to home a half hour away. So, the process began, call for a tow through my insurance. I was obviously being watched over by my numerous doggy angels as they sent CTS. Igor showed up very timely and I could tell right away he knew what he was doing. I was able to exhale for the first time since this began. He pulled my beautiful car on to the flatbed, knew the gates at the dealership would be locked. My husband and I met him, he flagged down the security and had them unlock the gate so my car was in line at the service department when they opened this morning. What a smooth calming experience. Phenomenal towing service. I've used Cheban twice already! It's never a happy occasion when you need to have your vehicle towed is it? But Cheban makes it extremely less painful. I had my vehicle towed twice from my home and Cheban was assigned to me via AAA. Cheban arrived to my home to rescue my vehicle so quickly! Both times I rode with my vehicle to the mechanic and talked the drivers ears off about work and stuff. Such a kind driver, so personable, friendly and awesome...and was very sure to take extra special care of my BMW both times it was loaded onto the flatbed to be towed. The driver and owner Yurey is very arrogant and lacks confidence. He became very irritated with me asking questions about his process to tow my 2021 Tesla Y. I experienced a fix tire and call AAA for tow service. I was dealing with my misfortune of having the same tire that was recently replaced flat again. I politely greeted Yurey with a smile and good morning and within 5 minutes he turned into something scary. He used terminology that I didn't understand "I am going to have to pop your plastic, if I wrench your car on the truck ". I asked what that meant and he explained. Unfortunately, and unbeknownst to me, I had reached my three question limit. He accused me questioning his ability to do his job. It was not until he accused me several times, of not trusting him that I questioned his ability to do his trade. I am a registered nurse and I enjoy patients asking me questions, because I am confident in my abilities to perform my duties and explain the rationale for my actions. I believe Yurey was not comfortable towing my vehicle, or with me asking questions or even perhaps with how I liked. Yurey's deep blue eyes were piercing and his body language was unsettling. He never said anything that was offensive however, he very well understood that he held the power card. His refusal to tow me without cause was abusive. I believe that I was blessed by him leaving me on the side of the road. I have made note of Yurey's company CHEBAN Towing and I will not allow AAA to send him to assist me again. read more
