No need to get cute when you're dealing with a place that's been doing one thing longer than most people have had careers. Let's start with the burger, because wow. This thing absolutely delivers. Cooked to order, juicy, perfectly seasoned, and hits that sweet spot where you take a bite and immediately understand why people won't shut up about it. Five out of five, no notes, no complaints. This is the kind of burger that makes you question every overpriced, overbuilt "gourmet" burger you've ever had. This is how it's supposed to be done. And then... the fries showed up. Hot? Yes. Fresh? Seemed like it. But somehow they pulled off the impressive trick of being both hot and soggy at the same time. It's like they skipped the part where fries are supposed to have texture. Total letdown, especially sitting next to a burger that's basically winning awards in my head. The iced tea did its job. No drama there. So here's where I land. The burger alone is worth the trip. My wife liked the flavor of her KFC but didn't think Korean flavors really shined through. Having lived in Korea for a couple of years, I think she might have a good grip on Korean flavors. My angry bird was indeed angry! The spiciness level seemed like it was 7 or 8 out of 10. This is a small national chain, so I do expect quality and customer service to be on par with the rest of the chains, and that is what I got. The product is fair, but nothing really excellent about it. I know of locally owned places that I would rather go to, but I suppose that if I were running around on Archer road and had a hankering for a hot chicken sandwich like this I would be inclined to return.

Just about everything was cold and the chicken sandwich was incorrect, just like it was this time. Why am I paying for cheese and/or bacon on a sandwich but never getting it? Last time, cheese but no bacon...this time, no cheese or extra mayo. (Which they should actually put honey mustard as an option but they don't--if so many people like to dip their chicken strips in it, why not option it as an add-on to your sandwich??) Worst of all, no one has bothered to clean all the greasy fingerprints off the doors as you come in...hard to find a clean table as well. What does the nighttime crew DO before they leave? Just leave everything disgusting for the opening crew? That doesn't make good sense at all! Management needs to make either one or the other do some cleaning BEFORE opening for business the next day! Seriously!! How hard is it to wipe down some table tops and benches? 10 minutes of work goes a looooong way towards good impressions. Also, instead of mopping and sweeping while customers are trying to sit and eat...let's think about doing that BEFORE or AFTER they're in the building. The one thing that bugs me everytime i go there, picking which spot to park at and then pull in only to find the order kiosk is down. Then you have to move. Then when you park at one, order then the card payment option is disabled.. Its gotten better here , but these things make it aggrevating at times. This was my frequent spot after work when I worked on this side of town. Currently it is lacking in…read moreconsistency. Lately food comes out lukewarm and almost room temp. The mozzarella sticks are so dry and the cheese is not nice and melted. I remember when I used to but into them and the batter was not stale but crunchy and the cheese pull was strong (picture from 2019 below for reference). The chicken items are questionable in texture and again never really cooked properly. The hamburger meat has changed significantly since I remember it looking more dark and having more of a bite to it and now it looks like school cafeteria meat (the gray lab meat). The texture is a little spongey. The drinks are the only thing I seem to come for with the occasional chicken slider but I don't seem to enjoy it as much. I am not sure if I'll just stop coming altogether since every time I come I expect maybe a change but it's always the same issue. It's overpriced fast food and to add not even their sauces add flavor to their food. It seems like nothing is made fresh to order. Food is fried and left out to get cold then reheated multiple times it looks like.
