First the gal couldn't count change, even after the machine told her how much to give me she gave me to much and I had to tell her, then they only had envelopes with windows... this was a post office right? Then when I asked for the address to put it on the envelope she got snotty and told me they had 1200 addresses and she didn't know all of them, I explained that I just just wanted to add it to my new phone for the future and address my envelope. I then asked another woman if she would look it up so I could address the envelope and she said, "she will look it up later, we don't have all our mail out today." What could have taken 30 sec. to show great customer service after the above turned into ridiculousness and this bad review. I will not go into that post office again. What's sad is you think being in a small town they would have the small town "let's help everyone out", HA! Far from with those ladies. Now I have to wonder if they will "conveniently" lose my mail. Very sad in a small town.

I'm a Mesquite resident and single mother writing to share a situation I believe is important for…read morethe community to know about. This year, my daughter and I have experienced significant loss and instability. My mother passed away in 2020, and I lost my father in February of this year. As an only child, I inherited all of my parents' belongings. Due to circumstances beyond my control, my daughter and I were forced to move three times this year, and I placed everything I owned into a storage unit. I fell three months behind on storage payments. With fees, the balance totaled $654. During that time, I stayed in contact with management, made it clear the unit was not abandoned, and asked about a payment plan. I was given a deadline of December 15. I immediately asked if they could wait until Thursday, when I would be paid, so I could pay in full. I did not receive a response. When I went in to pay the balance, I was told the unit had already been auctioned. I lost everything in that unit, including family photos, letters, personal belongings, and most importantly, the cremated remains of both of my parents. I understand businesses have policies, but I believe this situation was handled without compassion or reasonable accommodation, especially given that I was actively communicating and attempting to resolve the balance. I am speaking out in the hope that no other family experiences this.
