Inside the former See's Candy shop is Cheeky Bits Sweets. The shop reminds me of when I was a teenager, and after playing tennis with a buddy, we would go to his house, and his Italian mom would whip up a batch of something good to eat. In San Francisco, there are a load of chocolate choices. Some are artisanal. Others are exotic. We have our iconic Bay Area ones, too. But this place is like a visit to my tennis buddy's family kitchen. The chocolates here are wholesome and homespun. The décor is bright and cheerful, like the shop owner. So go treat yourself to some dark chocolate almond toffees (they are really good and award winning) and experience a little bit of home on the ground floor of Embarcadero 3.

Anyone here finding the best sweets without tooth decay this holiday season? Come to Cheeky Bits Sweets at 3 Embarcadero Ctr! Classic small interior; service with a sweet smile. Here's one of my best recommendations. Dappy's non-alcoholic cans, and dark chocolate bars (pictured below). I'll make this short and sweet this time. Be sure to try what's completely different for your sweet tooth.

I ran across this new candy store They have a great selection of home recipes of Chocolates and candies. They use organic butter to make their chocolates. So yummy and high quality sweets.Highly recommend it and must try!!

The house hot chocolate was delicious -- rich, smooth, and not overly sweet. The Baked Ghana ice cream was amazing; we have never had chocolate ice cream like that before. We loved it so much that we ordered another large house hot chocolate before leaving. Everyone at the store was incredibly kind to our family, especially with our two small kids. We'll definitely be coming back more often.Amazing service. Please open a location in the East Bay!

The treats were tasty, but on the pricier side. I believe the pricing reflects the quality of the chocolate used in the products, so to me, the pricing is justified. The outer shell of the canelé had a nice crunch, but the inside actually reminded me of a chocolate brownie, and was less custardy than your typical canelé. Despite not being super traditional, I still really enjoyed the treat. With the chocolate chip cookie, I loved the giant chunks of semi-sweet dark chocolate embedded within it. I appreciate that the cookie itself wasn't overly sweet. With most cookies, I usually can only tolerate having a few bites, or need to have a coffee in hand to enjoy it, but I didn't feel like that was the case here: both treats were delicious. Overall, I would definitely stop by Dandelion Chocolate again if I'm looking for a well-crafted, sweet treat.

I would go to corner candy store for each school to buy my favorite candies through my formative years. Candies were also part of celebrations in the Mission involving a piñata .As an adult you will see me at See's when I get a sweet tooth craving. There is a place which sells chocolate from Switzerland and the Philippines and if you are sour because it's Monday or just everyday of the week in SF you should visit a place called Giddy. On Spring stroll in my old school stomping grounds I walked on Noe street and landed on Market at Giddy. Inside it's a candy store with lots of variety of gummies and licorice along with some international chocolate from the Ecuador and the Philippines. What you will also find a lot of varieties of candies which are very sour like some in SF. You will find lots of sour fizzy chewy cherries along sour mango belts. You will also find the classic sour cherry balls and berry sour foamy and sour strawberry and lemon butterflies along with a favorite from Sweden known as Bubs which is a sour strawberry and lemons skull gummy. Giddy is a good place to get sweet or sour. Sour is how you "felt" on a Monday when the chocolate in your pocket on a hot day "melt" and the best way in the past how it was "dealt" is go grab for a sour "gummy cherry belt" On Market street there lots of places for foods I have "eaten"some want on a cheat day a place for some "cheatin" at a place with chocolate from Ecuador , Philippines and Switzerland which is a bit "sweeten" and some like it sour like the strawberry and lemon skulls called Bubs which are from "Sweden"

You can tell there's real thought and craftsmanship behind everything they make. I overheard that they've created over 200 flavors of fudge - all my grandma made was chocolate walnut! Beyond the product itself, the shop is always spotless, well-organized, and inviting. It feels intentional and cared for, which makes the experience that much better. I've been coming here for years, and honestly, it's impressive how the quality and overall experience have only gotten better over time rather than slipping. The staff is consistently friendly, welcoming, and happy to help -- whether you're sampling (you can sample as much as you want!), asking questions, or just browsing. You never feel rushed, and it's clear they genuinely care about what they're selling and the people walking through the door. If you're looking for exceptional fudge, thoughtful flavors you won't find everywhere else, and a shop that clearly takes pride in what it does, Z Cioccolato is a must. A true SF gem that keeps raising the (candy) bar.
