I paid $1,500 for my little one's birthday here and left feeling very disappointed. What I expected to be a fun, breezy celebration turned into a stressful experience. The setup itself looked cute, but they forgot to add extra chairs for the additional kids we paid for. Speaking of which, charging about $40 per extra child on top of the package is pretty unreasonable, especially since the base party only includes 15 kids. You technically get two hours of playtime, but in reality, one of those hours is used for eating, cutting the cake, and singing--leaving only about an hour of actual play. The room itself was also hot and humid, which made it uncomfortable for both the kids and adults. I had to ask about the a/c and they told me i could open the other party room next door to let some air in. The party host also seemed unprepared and a bit clueless. At one point, she was awkwardly stacking pizzas in one hand and passing them out in a way that left guests staring. She even forgot about the piñata until I reminded her, and instead of letting the kids enjoy breaking it open, she started ripping the box apart herself. It completely took away from the experience. To make matters worse, the food came out burnt, and we were missing items we had ordered. For the amount paid, I expected a much smoother, more professional experience. Been taking my kids here for years now. Very clean and safe. The staff has always been very kind.

We happen to fall into this little indoor playground while hanging out in Sugarland. This was money well spent for 1 hour of fun. I was able to sit in open dining area and see her play inside any of the play rooms. Now getting her out in an hour is the challenge. They explain the different age play areas for each kid. We started at the money market and ended up at the obstacle course for the bigger kids. They offer socks for a cost because everyone has to wear socks in building. They allow parties and have a cool open dining area for snacks. This was a cool find if you're hanging around the sugarland area stop by and play a minute. Of course she left out kicking and screaming. You can play to play by the hour. So for 14.00 we got an hour. read more

Dear Management, My family recently visited your Sugar Land location. Unfortunately, we had to request a refund due to an issue involving the "Toddler Land" area and the lack of enforcement of your posted age restrictions. During our visit, a patron allowed approximately five children , clearly well above the toddler age range, to remain in the toddler section. Their behavior was extremely rambunctious and unsafe for the younger children present. My child is only 19 months old, and several parents of toddlers, myself included, ultimately felt forced to leave the area because it had been overtaken by older children. I spoke with one of your employees, who did attempt to address the situation with the adult supervising the children. However, the adult refused to remove the older children from the designated toddler space. While I appreciate the kindness and professionalism your employee and manager showed, especially the manager's apology and prompt refund, the larger issue remains unresolved. My question is simple: Why establish age restrictions if staff members are not empowered or willing to enforce them? Rules designed to protect younger patrons are meaningless if they are ignored when situations arise. I visited your establishment for two reasons: 1. To provide my child with a safe and enjoyable experience. 2. To evaluate your venue as a possible location for an upcoming family reunion involving more than 50 children. After this experience, I no longer feel confident considering your establishment for such an event. Your staff was courteous, but courtesy without enforcement does not create a safe environment for toddlers and their families. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and reevaluates how policies are enforced moving forward. read more

The place was understaffed with no worker supervision to prevent the older, bigger and taller kids from coming into the area reserved for kids 3 and under. The over sized kids took over the balloon carousel with no supervision from their parents or staff. Not sure if l return or recommend it play time. Find another venue for your big child read more

My twins love it here! When it's hot as heck outside they can't play at the parks but they still need a place to release all of that energy. This is the place! It's $15 for 1/hr or $18 for the day, if they staying more than 1 hr it's a no brainer, but it's for one visit so if they leave they cannot come back. Also, they do sell pizza for $12, not the greatest but it's affordable. The twins always have a blast here and it's like pulling teeth trying to get them to leave. read more

Fun little place to take your toddler or kiddo to burn off energy before nap time. They have a sectioned-off toddler play area with two slides, a floor piano, ball pit, and more. The ball bit has two vacuum tubes to insert balls, but they were broken for few months so I don't expect them to get fixed anytime soon. The floor piano didn't work today either. The "Playland" is where it's at. It's a two story jungle play area with obstacle courses, trampolines, various types of slides, and more. Although it's meant for kids, I have to admit, it's kind of fun for adults too! We had to follow our little one through the entire thing because he is too young to venture by himself. Be careful though - we once saw a lady hurt her ankle and the ambulance had to take her away. Another time we met an elderly couple who couldn't figure a way out without having to go through obstacles. Overall it's a nice place to bring little ones. I just wish they paid more attention to the maintenance aspect. My two year old boy absolutely loves place. It's easily his favorite play space. Perfect for little kids with so many different areas to explore. And parents can hang out comfortably at their own tables while watching the kiddos on a monitor. They have a really nice selection of food and drink - from pizza to kids snacks and even a whole coffee menu, everything to keep you and your little full and energized. I really love how clean everything is. Sure, maybe because the place is new, but I'll update if things change in the future. My boy is really shy and doesn't like playing with other kids yet, so we go during their downtime around 2-4pm. Why only 4 stars? There isn't enough regulating to keep the older kids out of the toddler play area. While that's definitely a parent-problem, the staff could help reinforce the rules more. They certainly don't have a problem checking people for socks or alerting you when your playtime is up, so it would be nice if they'd do more to keep the age groups separate. Also, beware of the twisty white slide. My kid went down it and started crying. So I followed him through the slide and it whipped me around so bad that I got a plastic-burn on my elbow. Why 5 stars? Because of college countless indoor playgrounds we've been to, this is probably the best. --- --- --- We take our son to enough of these places all around the Houston area to the point that we feel like we could write a guide book. If we ever do, this one is going on page one. One of the first things we noticed right off the bat was how clean it was. They made a bold choice to make a lot of things white in here... I'd be curious to see how that holds up over time. But for now, it all looks great. There are a lot of employees around and there is a rotation of people cleaning. The cafe has a lot of options, though we didn't end up ordering any of the hot food. The best part is that the playground area manages to be safe for toddlers, while also still being fun for kids that are a bit older. We never were worried about our 3.5 year old, even when we temporarily lost sight of him a couple times. There were a couple of private parties going on in the sizable party rooms. It was nice that they don't close down the whole place for private parties, as we've seen elsewhere (or at least, they didn't when we visited.) One difference here from the norm is that you pay based on the time you want to stay. We didn't know how long we would stay, so we just estimated 2 hours. It just so happened that literally as we were walking out the door, someone got on the speaker and said, "everyone who has a yellow wrist band, your time has expired!" We didn't expect it to be that official, but it worked out. We usually just stay until our son is ready to go. One day before the party, and the owners and management are refusing to honor the prices, so they abruptly cancelled our party. ONE DAY BEFORE OUR PARTY. We've sent out invitations, gotten RSVPs, booked catering and cakes, prepared party favors- all for management to cancel our event. This is very disappointing as our kids LOVE going here and requested to have their birthdays here. The lack of communication and poor management left the kids so heartbroken. I love to see her having a great time. The reason why I only gave 3 stars is bc it could be a lot better. The idea of Cheeky Monkey is cool. Lots of different play areas where kiddos can use their imagine and play. For example, upstairs there is a doctor's office but it NEVER has doctor equipment. Downstairs there is a grocery store but again it never is equipped with food. The staff is really young school aged kids but they aren't really excited about their job or very interested in reinforcing the expectations of older kids being in the areas specifically designated for the toddlers. There is a food court but they usually are closed by the time we arrive. Overall the kids have a good time so that's all you can really ask for. I brought my son and daughter here for his birthday during the day and I have no complaints at all! It wasn't a reserved party, we had just heard about it from a friend and decided to "swing" by. It was clean, comfortable, and a great value for the price. My son turned two so the entire thing felt safe for him. A few kids running around (of course) so I stayed with him when I went into the bigger kids area. My daughter is 6 and she had a blast! It's our first time here, but my boys (7.5 and 5 yo) are in love. :) As soon as they walked in, they practically squealed with excitement at the immense (and, importantly, clean!) playscape in front of them. Definitely worth coming in to beat the heat as they've got the AC cranked way up. In fact, I'm tempted to join the boys in running around just to keep a bit warm. Remember to bring socks though (or you can buy them at the front), and they won't allow outside food/drink except for water to come in. However, they've got a very extensive menu full of kiddo favorites at their in-house cafe. For the summer, they've got a deal where kids can get unlimited play for $15.99 per person Mondays through Fridays, so definitely take advantage of that. We attended a birthday here. Very crowded. Children and several adults inside play areas. Some adults were wearing shoes on surfaces meant for babies and young toddlers. There were probably 3 birthdays going on in a limited space since the location is not huge in addition to regular traffic. Birthdays are not led in a organized way and kid guests were just scattered everywhere with no time management. Then there were unnecessary games that were played in the party room before food which cut into the actual play time in the play areas. Party table was small with chairs extremely close together and table was not cleared before serving cake. There were cute pretend play areas but no one was maintaining them so toys and pretend food was just lying around everywhere. Did my daughters first birthday there and let me tell you it was the WORST experience ever. They are always so busy to help book parties over the phone, they tell you to book through their website instead. Somehow my party got booked to a location out in Dallas. I pre booked this party a month in advanced.. I received no confirmation call so I decided to call to confirm details myself since I wanted to make sure my daughter had the correct decor for her party. When I found out my party was booked to new castle hills I called sugarland location and spoke to Vivian, whom said she was management. She told me she would get me the deposit from the other location refunded and rebook my party in sugarland. But I had to pay another deposit since they use a different system. I never received a refund invoice so I called new castle hills the next day. Spoke to 'Ladybug'. She said there was no notes, no one ever called from sugarland . Frustrated I went up to cheeky monkey in person and spoke Destani. Who ALSO said she was management. She didn't even have a clue of anything going on. Thankfully she got my refund issued from new castle hills (Dallas). It is so frustrating I had to change the time of my party, 4 guests could not make it. Even when I called new castle hills they told me a guest trying to book to new castle hills got booked to sugarland instead. Like how do y'all even let these errors occur?! If I didn't call to confirm my party , my guests and I would have showed up and there would have been no party!! Day of the party -The decor ordered from Amazon was not right. Holes were in balloon. So my backdrop didn't even turn out right. I do appreciate Destani for doing everything she did to get other balloons to accommodate the party and whatnot but it didn't even match the birthday theme. My party started at 12. They didn't even finish setting up til 12:40.. The party coordinator that was assigned to my party had my party and the one next door mixed up. My guest ended up buying pizza for my party when we should have had the chicken and fries ( it was included) come out first. I had to ask the event coordinator to bring the popcorn out.. if not that would have been forgotten too. The event coordinator was not even checking up on the party to see if we needed anything else. When asked to cut our cake she put on a shit face. Did not seem happy about it. Giving an attitude. When she was cutting the cake, I told her I can take over, then she asked why? I said she didn't look like she even wanted to be here. She told me " I didn't , I'm not even suppose to be at work. I had a fever yesterday". To me that sounded like a personal problem. And if she was feeling under the weather she should not have came to work. Sorry but you are working in customer service and with kids! She told me she couldn't let me cut the cake because it's policy to not allow guests to have the knife. Sorry but excuse me you not cutting my child's cake with that shitty attitude . I absolutely love this place for my child but you guys have horrible staff here. Maybe better pay and better management will help solve this problem. I will not be coming back. This is a great place to run around and burn off energy. They have a toddler section that's fairly small but fun. Once we were done with that area, we entered the bigger main play area. They also have a pretend play area - grocery store, kids table, etc. My 1 year old wanted to be carried a lot while we were in the main play area. Overall, I think Cheeky Monkeys is the best for slightly older kids, 2-3 and up. We paid for an hour, and it was all we needed. This was the most expensive and time limited (others were play for 2 hours or as long as you like) of the 4 play areas we've visited in the area. read more

I came to this place to celebrate my niece's birthday. When I came in, I liked the whole view of the place. That is the only good thing I can say about this place. Then I went to my niece's room where we going to celebrate. Their supervisor Faith was not helping when we ask her for the things that is needed for the room. She is just hears it and just stood there. "The cheeky monkey" mascot that came in was so quiet and emotionless. Eventually the monkey mascot left after 5 mins. Just a bit of advice maybe have a staff member go into the the play area every 15 minutes just to make your presence known and remind the older kids to be mindful of the younger ones and to be careful not to run them over. Most kids were fine but there's always a few that need the reminder or a straight up time out. I'll get off my soapbox :) Just something to think about. read more
