Westmoore Playground - Small play structure with slide and rope ladder

    Westmoore Playground

Large open area with hills, natural climbing structures, rope obstacle course, swing set with two…read moreregular swings and two toddler swings, a large Zipline, zero-gravity capsule seat spinning things, large circle spinner, small slide climbing structure, and simple splash pad area. Large open flat areas for play as well and a covered patio area with seats and tables. None of the structures are covered so it got hot in the sun pretty quickly for my boys. Because of the hillscape, kids had a lot of area to climb up and down. They were able to do some of the ropes course but it would be much better for kids five and up or those with longest legs/reach. There is only one slide and a small climbing structure that is uncovered and became pretty warm to the touch so the kids stayed off of it. They spent more time running up and down the hills and chasing each other. There are open fields which would be good for flying kites or maybe soccer or football (though there is a lake nearby and you could lose your ball to it easily). The Zipline was a big draw for older kids. The kickback on it will require kids and adults with a good grip or you will fall off once you hit the opposite side/end of the Zipline. I had a lot of fun on it! This is a neighborhood park but has ample parking for visitors and is connected to a building of some sort. Lots of parking available and lots of open green area with segments to play in. The splash pad area was a welcome surprise and is operated by visitors via a button. It turns on the water sprouts for a while and then turns off on its own. Push the button to renew/extend play time.
