Not a very welcoming shop. Parking is only two spots and very difficult to get in and out. Went in looking for a gift. Was stopped at the door and had to describe items I was looking for. I kept being told it was a woman items only shop. That's exactly who I was shopping for. It doesn't happen often but I really felt discriminated and judged before I could even step inside. We did not end up going in and decided we would take our money to another shop. I wouldn't recommend theirs place based on the customer service we were provided. read more

Jennifer made me feel so welcomed! I walked up the stairs before the store officially opened, but she let me in to browse around. It was my first time here and I was internally screaming. Beautiful, beautiful store - inside and out. I told her I wanted to change my style and be more bold. She showed me a bright pink top that I loved so much, but didn't get. I thought, "Amazing -- but not yet for me." Jennifer caught me off guard when she said, "I think you're more into earth tones." MA'AM, HOW DID YOU KNOW? Haha. She brought more clothes for me to try on and I loved it all. I ended up buying one of their Cheeky dresses and a gold necklace. And, let me tell you, the dress. Honey, the dress. I can honestly sleep in it because it is THAT soft and gorgeous. If I see that pink top when I come back to visit again, perhaps it's meant to be. read more

This is a couture vintage shop not to be mistaken for a thrift shop with random old things. I visited this store during their 7 year anniversary party. I met the owner and she was lovely. I was given a tour of the shop, a charming bungalow turned closet ***dream***. I had a great experience here and they have reasonable prices for their treasures. Thanks ladies! I was looking for a black pencil skirt, & found this place on yelp. I was greeted right at the door, very helpful, asked right away what I was looking & she brought me a variety of skirts to look at. The.Best.Vintage.Store.Ever. All of the wonderful things my vintage hunter self tries to dig up at thrift and vintage stores, are here. They're all right here, wonderfully sorted by color, with matching accessories to boot, at Cheeky Vintage. A snippet of the great things I saw were Bill Blass jackets, Albert Nipon dresses, and Escada jumpsuits. All in pristine condition. Now listen up. I believe that there is a difference between a vintage shop and a resale shop. Unlike a resale shop that has a hodge podge of used everything, a vintage shop contains used merchandise that has been carefully handpicked....each piece representing the vibe that the shop is going for... The items are better and the prices are higher. I'm not saying that you can't find a diamond in the rough at goodwill (I'm no snob. I have found my share).... just that it is more difficult and less likely. Cheeky is a wonderful VINTAGE shop. It's located across the street from the forever-changing shepherd plaza, in a cute little house. They have gorgeous clothes... Dangerously gorgeous!! Oh and the jewelry...shoes.. belts. Oh man... Their extensive collection ranges from everyday to evening wear. So far I have only browsed but next time I feel like spending some $$$ and getting some amazing things, I will be here. This is now my new all time favorite vintage store. The stuff they have in here is amazing and it's super cute. I have an obsession with colorful things and bright patterns. I felt like this store could be my second closet. I bought 2 dresses and a crop top. Everything had to be adjusted, but they have a lady in the store that does it. The crop top was way too small when I tried it on, but the lady walked right up and let out the fabric right then. That was fate so I had to get it. I've been looking for a maxi dress that actually gives me shape. I have that skinny bony hip frame so I feel like it's hard to find things that actually flatter me. I found a green one here that I loved and the best part is no one else with have it. Since I've told you about my other purchases I might as well tell you about the other colorful dress. It was like my colorful imagination dreamed it up and Cheeky Vintage sold it to me. Plus they have chocolate throughout the whole store too so that's another reason just to go. read more

This is not your average moth ball smelling warehouse with junk collected from a community of hoarders. This is a treasure! & it smells more like a Jo Malone Pomegranate Noir candle in there baby! I stopped by for their Sip & Sale event last night. Markdowns as low as $10 on QUALITY vintage items. I racked up man! YSL, Anne Klein, & a few one of a kind pieces. Like everybody that was there tried on something awesome. From evening gowns to silk rompers. Omg & the fur collection. Heavens to Betsy! It was like the dopest girls night out playing dress up with complete strangers.I really enjoyed myself and everyone was so helpful and sweet. During a recent day trip to Houston, Cheeky was on my "Vintage Must Do" list and I'm so glad I made it a point to stop here. The selection is NOT cheap, but it is VERY well curated and of great quality. Store manager, Carolyn, was a gem to meet. She walked me through the space, filled with a gorgeous collection of pieces throughout the decades, and asked me many questions about particular things I'd like. She really did a great job of getting to know my personal preferences before adding me to their email list so she can let me know if she finds things she'll know I'll love. By any means, this place isn't your dig-in-piles-cheap retro store; rather, it's a space filled with beautiful finds that are in excellent condition and well worth the price tag. A hidden a gem! I was skeptical of the name (I usually associate "cheeky" with "fresh"), but behind the white brick facade is an unbelievable collection of vintage (real vintage, this isn't Salvation Army resale). I'm a sewer and a designer snob, and they have impeccably made pieces from the 50s, 60s, and 70s that you just can't find anymore. They carry looks for everything from casual brunch with friends to gowns for your next black tie event, and then they have the accessories to match! I love hunting for good vintage, but over time garments, bags, shoes, etc. have a natural tendency to deteriorate if not well taken care of... Cheeky Vintage sells really nice quality stuff. I was surprised by the condition of all the pieces, especially the furs. When I went in I met the manager and owner, and they're the sweetest, most fabulous ladies! Very helpful in assisting me with a dress selection for an upcoming work event; they pulled things I never would have given a second look, but the pieces transformed once I put them on. Also, bonus with the variety of chocolates kept in each of the rooms! ;) The best vintage shop I've visited in the Houston area, both in quality of service & product. read more
