For a markup price, but still no where near what you'd pay at a retail store, Pavement filters a lot of the boring thrift items out. That way, you're more likely to find something you like without having to look too hard. Some of the finds here are quite impressive. I've bought a couple of graphic tees over the years, never paying more than $15 each despite them looking new. One of them has even landed in my rotation about once a week. Pavement's role as a trendy semi-thrift store works well for its location; I often find myself popping in for only 20-30 minutes, either right before or after grabbing a bite with friends, because that's all the time I need to browse the already-curated merchandise. In short, this is a great place to upgrade your wardrobe without breaking the bank or combing through hundreds of pieces at a time. The chances of walking out with something in hand is still hit or miss, similarly to any conventional thrift store, but I like my odds way better when I walk in here.

So she texted the owners and they said the skirt was $25. We found the tag that was originally on the skirt saying $15 and they refused to honor the price they had LABELED on the skirt and instead upped the price because they didn't believe the price tag was the one they'd placed on the skirt. Regular "thrift" stores are WAY nicer. Girl at the register with the blue hair was insanely rude. Honestly not worth the hype, prices, or items they sell. Go ANYWHERE else.
