My honest review: I…read morehave worked out at Orange Theory for about 2 years and saw relatively slow results. It was mostly cardio based and I never felt challenged. What I love most about F45: 1. The trainers! Brian and Fran know my name and it's honestly the thing that impressed me the most. Every time I come in, they ask me how I've been and how I feel that week. They get to know their clients names and I find that extremely important. 2. The trainers push me. There are some days I don't want to be there but I'm working towards my goals. The workouts are freaking hard and I can tend to get discouraged. We had a chin up exercise and I immediately started doing an alternate version. Fran noticed this and stopped what she was doing to come help me with the chin ups by adding the bands to the bottom of my feet. Not only did she suggest that but she stood there and made me complete 5!!! I honestly wouldn't have attempted it if she hadn't encouraged me to do so. THEY CARE! 3. The studio is *always* clean and the equipment is well taken care of. 4. The workouts are HARD. Monday, Wednesday and Fridays are cardio days BUT THERE IS NO TREADMILL!! Y'all, I'm telling you. It's worth it. I feel stronger and leaner just by going there 4 times a week. I'm very pleased by switching to F45 from OTF.

Six Stars Kylene is…read morea true healer. I office at the same location and she saw me limping one day. She told me about her therapy and I scheduled appointment. I injured my leg about a year ago and I have never gotten so much relief from a therapy session. I've had about 5 sessions now and my limp is almost totally gone. Kylene got interested when she was injured. After recovery she decided that she wanted to be a person that helped people with injury and dedicated her life to studying ways to heal and maintain good physical condition. She uses the "Rossiter Method". A little bizarre as she massages with the heel of her foot but the results speak for themselves. I am a true believer. Before seeing her I could barely walk. She also offers Pilates classes to keep yourself in shape and she is very reasonable priced. As an extra, she is an absolutely delightful person to spend an hour with. Parking wasn't as hard to get even with it being an SMU gameday. I was greeted and given a tour of the space since it was my first time. Both Amy and Miranda were kind and welcoming throughout my whole experience. I never know what to expect with a power flow since every teacher does it differently, but I enjoyed this class. It was a slower pace, but still hit challenging poses and stretches. Amy gave multiple variations to each pose to fit all experiences and yoga levels. It is an infrared studio, but I didn't feel like it was too hot or suffocating. I felt more relaxed, stretched, and calm once the class was over! I would definitely go back!

However, I came to see the guys. I thought I was going to be sweating and working out hard while watching those trainers pictured on the website flex and show me how to do the exercises all to the tunes of the crunkest DJ ever so ... a weekly club outing really. The music was good. Not weak gym music but K104, Kiss FM, and some throwbacks music. The DJ will even take requests to tailor your workout. The exercises were crazy challenging enough for the most serious exerciser person but they will modify (with dignity) for people like me (more of a double cheeseburger, rib tips, and double fudge chocolate cake kind of girl). I wasn't very dedicated but still I grew arm muscles, leg quad muscles, and the 2 vertical ab lines in 5 weeks. I can't give it 5 stars. It's exercise!!! But I do believe I'll do this again. The academics are rigorous following the Montessori (18 months - 5 years old) and Classical (1st-8th Grades) Pedagogies. The teachers and staff feel as if this is a vocation, not just a job. They care for each student and goes above and beyond to work with their students to succeed. The focus to help each student succeed and to reason clearly, choose morally, and serve faithfully. The average class size is about 12 students, which helps give more attention to the needs of each student. A focus of the school is "more green time and less screen time", which is seen through the Agricultural Studies program and the many outdoor learning classrooms. MSMCS is a faith-based school with daily Mass, monthly confessions and Adoration. It is truly a special place. I have read the reviews that are posted here and need to comment on the negative postings. I am truly sorry for the memories and ways that some of the girls were treated when they attended the Boarding School on the campus of Mount St. Michael. The Boarding school closed in the late 70s. The current school, Mount St. Michael Catholic School is NOT the same school as it was in the 1940s-1970s. Mount St. Michael Catholic School is an apostolate of the Christian Community of God's Delight, a lay Catholic Charismatic Prayer Group which started the school in 1986 to provide a faith-based school of like-minded families to partner in raising their children.
