Given I never go on a weekend, but otherwise the girls are hot and there's plenty of them, its so nice having so many hotties compete for a male's attention. Nice club, I'm glad they offer a few curvy girls for us guys who are turned on by the "Classic" women's body. Anorexic girls bald between their legs with a 12 year old boys body are so 2003. Like others said it's annoying getting hit for a $1 after every dance. Sort of sad a girl would beg for a $1. I have been to Cheetahs a few times over the past several years and my experiences there have been increasingly positive. I see that many of the negative reviews here are based on an unfulfilled and unrealistic expectation for more "attention" than was given or simple minded haters (key word "many" not "all" before you bunch up your garters.) The reality is that the girls are beautiful and diverse and they want you to have fun. More fun being had means more money being spent and just improves the atmosphere for everyoone - as long as you are not a complete douchebag (more rare than one might think, at least on my visits), don't be a tightwad (come expecting to spend some money. It's a business afterall and she doesn't like you THAT much. The best bartender in the world will bend their ear backward for you but you still have to buy something. You don't have to make it rain - but get a couple of dances, tip well, and try out a VIP. ) , and don't be creepy (seriously, don't be a creep and don't bring your friends if they're creepy.) I dont drink anyway so no complaints there. The staff is tops - never lacked for a drink but was never pestered. The security and door guys are a felt presence but in a good way - not intrusive. But yeah, Cheetahs is the best gents club in town. The girls have always made me feel welcome without being rude or demanding, I've not been there and NOT had an interesting conversation, and the girls are knock out beautiful. I went to Cheetah's while I was vacationing in California from Portland, Oregon, where I am an exotic dancer. I have pretty high standards for strip clubs, and Cheetah's didn't really meet them. It wasn't bad! The interior of the club is well kept, and well designed. The bartenders are friendly. But the girls that worked there were all very entitled. I have never experienced girls walking around, begging for tips after a stage set. Where I'm from, customers sitting at the stage tip you, and if they don't, you better put on a better show next time around. I felt obligated to tip the girls that I wasn't at all attracted to, just because of their pouty faces. The rules in San Diego for strip clubs SUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Go to a different city, or country if you want to know what a real strip club is like. I went there first off 18 dollars to get in and no alcohol. You do get two coupons for free soda, or water at the small bar, Again like other areas in this city the strippers walk around begging for their dollar tip after they are on the stage. Tips are supose to be given at the stage. Also when talking to one stripper, finding out what is offered because it was my first time, every minute some other stripper was begging for her dollar interrupting my conversation with the stripper I was talking to. Well they both lost out. I didn't get a lap dance with her and the one interrupting didn't get any tip after that dance or any other just because of her rudeness. The dances on stage are full nude but even in the VIP area 100 for number of songs the entire lap dance is covered. You won't be able to feel their bare breasts on your face because the lap dances and yes even VIP are clothed. The dancer's when on stage don't even give a good show. The entire attitude is one of I am naked now give me money. I am like **it do something worthy of a tip and I will. Spin on the pole or something. IF you are in San Diego. Where to start? It was like walking into a funeral? My Fiance' and I went with another couple. When I went to use the restroom I had to share it with the MALE staff oh and alllllllllllllllllll the dancers, it was their locker room. I saw dancers washing things one should never see. Bluck! I went there last Saturday night with a friend who highly recommended this as the best strip joint in SD. I must say that some of the girls were good looking but they make it so ovious that they are there for the money. For visitors from out of town. My friends and I visited San Diego and checked out 5 strip clubs. Here is our impression. Cover charge is pretty much all the same. A few of the clubs wanted you to be a member or pay double. They give you a card with the name of the strip club and a naked woman on it. This seems stupid, just a scam to get more money from the tourists. Also if you live in San Diego, it kind of sucks, you will be carrying around a business card with a naked woman on it, (In case you have kids, nephews/family or coworkers) who may accidentally see it. Most likely for this reason you will loose it or not have it with you when you go again and have to pay more to get in. On average it was like 20 dollar for entrance and you get a members card (business card with the naked woman) and the second time you visit it will be 10 dollars for entrance. The only one that didn't do this was Main Attraction strip club, but they are not that good either. (In California you have 2 kinds of strip clubs, alcohol free and completely nude vs only top off with alcohol. We went to Goldfingers, Main attraction, Cheetahs, Pacers and I can't remember the last one (maybe Expose?) Cheetahs. They will not ask for dollar after each dance unless you sit by the stage. They will not ask for a tip. 20 dollar lap dances. 100 dollars for VIP dances. (Much cheaper compared to Goldfingers who ask for 120 dollars for VIP + tip) This place had the most girls and was the most fun, when compared to the other places. I've been visiting San Diego for many years and checked out almost all clubs in the area - Cheetahs is the best! Your dances can be both great and lousy even with the same girl at different times. One lesson I learned over the years is that you can be never sure the same girl gives you the same great dances you had with her last time. Some do it indeed but some don't. Thus a big WARNING - don't go to the dark room with 5 dances minimum! Unless being ripped off is your reason to be there. Knowing that you are committed for 5 dances anyway, the gal won't be as motivated to give you great dances. Don't expect the dances to be as good there as in the other room with no minimum! Don't support this unfair rule of 5 dances minimum imposed by the management! If you don't like the dances, you deserve the freedom to decide to stop them immediately and look for better value for your bucks. Don't buy it from the girl when she says that room is much better. The nicest girls I've met don't do that. Simply say you are against restricting your own freedom that way and don't want to support this restriction. If you tell her, going there for you is out of question as long as this rule lasts, she'll stop asking you about it and will give you dances in the room without minimum that are just as good or even better. The more guys will do that, the harder the management will have to think about that rule and the sooner it will (hopefully) be abolished. read more

If could rate a zero I would. Went to the bullpen today to watch a few games. Decided afterwards to go with a buddy next door to cheetahs. Ten dollars apiece to enter, OK, that's fine. But after being there for literally one minute I got a text saying I was supposed to be home. I went up to the guy at the door who said his name was Tom. I told him my situation and that I wanted to know if I could get a refund because I needed to leave. After a lengthy discussion where I kept apologizing for any inconvenience he accused me of trying to scam him and that he would not give me any money back, despite not even being there long enough to order a drink or watch a girl on stage. He afterwards tried to say that he would let me and my friend in free next saturday, but i told him I wouldn't be coming back. i told him to have a good day and we left. I tried to call the club after I left and he answered the phone. i asked for the managers name but he said he was the manager on Sundays.... today is Saturday. He then said if I came back he would give me my $10 back, but I was already on the road. I will NEVER visit this place again and advise anyone considering it to go to platinum or another place instead. I will update the review after I call back on Monday. The money to get in is not even important, its the complete lack of reason and service that are the issue. DO NOT GO HERE. read more
