The drinks are devoid of any alcoholic content so you aren't lubing me up to spend more money, the soda is usually flat and they deter me from wanting to shovel out any more of my money to see marginally attractive (and that is a stretch!!) women who are clearly there solely for the purpose of paying the "light bill" and their "car notes." All that management cares about is gangbanging as much money out of you before you are even able to see any naked women so that when you do actually see them, you have an overbearing urge to "get your money's worth." Even if I gained free entrance into this joint and did not spend a penny while here, I'd still feel like I didn't get my money's worth and would want a refund in full... One stripper actually came up and said "Did you see me naked?" which somehow in her mind constituted an obligation to fork over a dollar bill or two regardless of how crappy a job she did dancing. Don't you think that if we felt the desire to shovel over a dollar for your sluggish dancing that we'd a had one out and ready for you before you came by? And don't you think that you could come up with a slightly more clever way to ask for a tip than just outright demanding it? Or do you really feel that inclined to conjure up so lame a line to get that G.D. dollar that you do your best to ensure that customers are so turned off by you that they wouldn't beg you to dance privately for them?!? One time we were here we actually saw a woman who had to be at least 45 and who had definitely given up the fight against gravity attempting to seduce the men (and women) of the crowd...she definitely gives the term "cougar" a bad name...She was more like a saber-toothed tiger! Another woman we saw had a long face (both literally and figuratively) which made me question, "Why the long face?" I mean, I can't imagine it'd be that depressing to work here...oh wait, it would be!! The least they could do is feign interest! I'd have to say that the ratio of ugly to good looking women is at least 8 to 1...and that is being generous. Legend has it that they actually serve hamburgers here...I can think of many reasons I'd never eat at a strip club, without even having to address the cleanliness of what the kitchen likely would be, as well as what the quality of what said hamburgers could possibly be. And to the dude who finds women fighting for their attention: WAKE THE FUCK UP!!! You are at a strip club, so of course if women think you have cash to burn they will fight for your attention...that scent you give off isn't just cheap Axe body spray, it's called desperation and you reek of it!! PROS: Many of the girls here are cute, a few you could even call Playboy or Hustler beautiful. Some of the ladies are also very sweet and kind. But There are a few whales who you don't want to see nude, and a few meanies, but not not too many. Maybe some guys like fat women (I'm not one), so maybe there is a reason to have a few "large Marge" women, who am I to say? There are a few who are excessively thin, anorexic even. But most are OK, body-wise, and some are really athletic and sexy beauties you may fall in love with. CONS: It is costly to get in, with a high cover charge and (non-alcoholic) drink charge. It also can be costly to stay for a while, since the ladies are VERY demanding about getting tipped after their sets, even if you missed them dancing. You can be in the most distant part of the club, even at the pool table, and the lady will eventually come around with her hand out for a tip. $1 or $2 after every set adds up fast. I don't mind tipping the dancers I like, even $5, but why should I tip a 260 pound gross lard ass? I hide out cowering in the men's room when lard ass comes around for her tips, but it actually wouldn't surprise me if lard ass burst in pounding on the stall. Go to the gym lady, before you ask for my hard earned money! Even more annoying, lard ass and some of the other ladies are constantly hassling you for $20 lap dances. My first...I'll repeat FIRST visit to Cheetahs (ok I lied...I did visit 4 years prior on a weeknight and found it dead and boring so walked out..about 6 girls and 5 customers)....I spied an attractive dancer and gave her the "eye" (to let her know I might be interested). Her friend/boyfriend came up and sat at the rail and she proceed to ignore me and another guy in lieu of her "friend". This was the backstage 2ND Stage behind the bar and she proceed to to "attempt" to learn/do the pole tricks. When she saw me looking (yes I had 2 notes ready to spend) she yelled "IF YOU'RE GOING TO FUCKING STARE YOU MIGHT AS WELL TIP!!!???" wow really!!!???? Went on a Friday night for a friend's bachelor party. Where to begin? Such an unfriendly place. The girls were alright, though it seems anyone with a C-cup or larger had plastic surgery scars. The atmosphere bordered on "desperate," with girls hitting up each and every man sitting down after their short, short show -- the DJ seems to have an ongoing hatred for music longer than two minutes. I must commend the girls on their taste in music, though -- imagine my surprise to see a top coming off to Pendulum's "Tarantula"! Back to the whole "desperate" bit... the ebb and flow of a strip club economy is really on display here. If you go and look like a normal idiot staring at titties then the girls will see this and hit you up mercilessly for lapdances. If you, like me, can keep your cool then you are practically left alone -- which isn't a bad thing since there's a sign outside the VIP stating a 5-song minimum on $20-per-long lapdances, and since the DJ cuts everything after two minutes you're paying $100 for 5 "songs" -- and all you have to deal with are the dancers relentlessly hitting you up for tips. What really appalled me, though -- and I've never seen this in Vegas nor Tijuana -- is the begging. Some girls have some serious cajones, and they go around asking patrons, "Give me a dollar?" Just like that. As if they were entitled to it. "You gotta earn it, babe!" I'd say, and half of them would storm off. Whatever, ladies, you can at least *try* to be nice. There are much nicer strip clubs in the area. Cheetah's girls have attitude problems and the venue ain't so great. For me that night I found less than half of the girls being awesome. There were a few girls I saw that should have invested in a retirement fund because they just looked tired. Biggest negative about this place is that the girls have no great skills on the poles if they did do a trick it was very basic. Also the choice of music is wack. Hardly any hiphop. So, after I posted my review, the management at Cheetahs reached out to me offering to make things right. It was a classy gesture, and I do want to point out that the management at Cheetahs has always been cool, so it was never anything against them. One bad apple among the dancers is no reflection on them. Unfortunately, when it comes to the girls--which, let's face it, are the whole reason for going to a strip club--not all of them are so classy, and that is what is going to make or break your experience. If dancing at a strip club is to be seen as an honest profession, then the dancers need to behave like professionals. The girl that made me quit this place (read my original review for details) was very transparent in how low an opinion she had of strip club patrons. The worst part is that she was not even a new girl. She had been working at Cheetahs for a long time, so she should have known better. But, on this day, I guess she just decided she was in a bad mood and wasn't going to play along with the fantasy, even though that's a dancer's entire job. Personally, I don't want to run the risk of being randomly insulted any time a dancer happens to be having a bad day. But, to be fair to the management, I will say that all of the club staff (i.e. the non-dancer people working at Cheetahs) are awesome, including all of the waitresses, the cashiers, and the bouncers. And most of the girls ARE professionals on most days. I'll name one specific dancer, Melinda, who is 10/10 gorgeous and also a consummate professional. She is incredibly sweet, never pushy. Even though her body is out-of-this-world, she's also very "real" and honest. For example, she will never try to deceive you on the song count in the VIP room. In my opinion, she sets the standard for how a dancer should operate. I think she's also one of the most popular girls among customers, so obviously doing things the right way pays off for her. Final words: Melinda by herself is worth 5 stars, so I'll average that out with my previous score and make it 3 stars for Cheetahs. My recommendation is, if you want a good strip club experience, go to Cheetahs and ask for Melinda by name. If she's not available, stay by the bar area until you see a girl that catches your eye, then let the bartender or the cashier know that you're interested in that girl. Do NOT sit at the rail or the couches and expect to be able to enjoy the visuals, or else random girls will approach you, and not all of them are going to be nice. read more

Cover price: $8 for ladies, $8 for guys WITH MEMBERSHIP CARD that is valid for one year. so yes, if it is your first time there and u are a dude u need to pay $18 (the cost of the membership card is $10). Also, if you are complaining about an $8 cover then cry me a river.. its better than risking getting stabbed in goldfingers or deja vu. BEST TIME to go: any time between 10pm-1am is good. weekend nights are packed. weeknights are usually pretty good, and almost always good during summer and breaks. DON't go earlier in the day unless u want free food (i fully endorse the 8 ounce new york steak++) DANCE PRICES: every monday-friday between 4pm-10pm is "4 for 40" (u get 4 dances for $40). couch dances are $20. VIP is minimum 5 for $100. just be aware of trying to get a good dance on fri or sat when its packed with other guys blowing their $$$. You usually won't struggle to get a girl's attention if u get your dance before 11:30pm. STAGES and TIPPING: one main stage, one auxillary connected behind the bar. FYI they installed poles that spin sometime early 2010 (if u didn't notice). QUIT B*TCHING ABOUT TIPPING $1 and don't tell me u are really that cheap. its the club policy to tip the girl getting off stage $1. so just do it even if u don't like the girl or didn't see her dance, don't be cheap, and she will go away faster (and its a convenient time to ask for a dance if she's to your liking). oh and they just remodeled that back stage with new chairs and countertop. SECURITY: bouncers are always nice, unless u are a true douche that probably has no friends for a reason. they RECENTLY INSTALLED more security cameras (i think some in the VIP room), because SD Vice has been cracking down on the clubs hard this year. This has no negative impact on getting a good dance, just keep this in mind when you think about sticking your finger somewhere it doesn't belong during a dance. MUSIC: normal strip club music, sound system is legit, sometimes got the strobe light on when busy, pool tables, flat screen tvs with espn on. o yeah, of course they got a $6 atm fee (but it won't show up as cheetahs on your statement)!!! show me a club that doesn't have a high fee. I find it funny girls writing bad reviews simply because they were charged a cover. Perhaps the real reason is they're jealous that every stripper in Cheetah's is better looking than them. This place is a true Vegas experience--when they're not dancing in the Vegas Cheetah's, the strippers come here. And if you to throw out your Vegas Cheetah's card (like I did), flash it here and you can get in without paying the cover--just the 2 drink minimum charge. Yeah, there's no alcohol, but a decent sports bar next door they partner with to give you free lunch and dinner in the club. And it's not a plate of reheated frozen meatballs--you can get a variety of things for lunch (like a pub double cheeseburger with chips) until 4pm and a New York steak and fries from 4-7pm. The $20 lap dances are good--better than most clubs in San Diego that charge the same amount for an "air dance"--and they offer 4 for $40 up to 10pm. But spend the extra money on a private session for $100--definitely worth it! For those who complain about the strippers begging for a buck after their set: Where ya been? It's been like this in San Diego for a long time now. And yeah, the girls are going to sit next to you and chit-chat, trying to convince you to go into the back for a dance, darn them. The cover charge for the ladies was $8 and a whopping $18 for the guys which is ridiculous!
