We got a gift certificate in January and have ordered a couple times. The food is good, not…read morespectacular; the portions are smaller than I expected (still enough for the number of people stated; I'm just used to places whose idea of a "serving" is my idea of two servings or more). Things I didn't like: Cost relative to serving size. I think restaurants (if you bring the leftovers home for another meal) are cheaper, in the same range of quality (this is good food, restaurant quality good, but it's nothing so stand-out that I would class it as spectacular). Minimum order for delivery - that's a lot of food to commit to, in order to find out if you like it (but walking in and buying on-site would get around that - note that "on-site" is the Chef's Pantry in Sellwood, not this address). Selection - you can only order from one menu per week and coupled with the minimum order, you'd jolly well better be interested in at least half and preferably 3/4 of the menu. I seldom am. Things I do like: delivery right to my house, which they do very well at scheduling and handling. Well-packaged food with clear directions for preparing and serving. Side dishes (not as many options as I'd like, but some of them are excellent). The desserts. The handling of allergies and sensitivities (I asked, because I am, and he was able to tell me everything that might be a problem for me and in what degree - and offered substitutions and alterations to the recipes if I put it in the comments - not all recipes can be altered but he told me which could). The taste, while not stand-out, is perfectly good; I didn't stare in shock and then bliss out, but I was happy to eat it. And the service and communication were easy, friendly, and pleasant.

My partner and I both work, and I find I save money using this service, and not having to prepare it is wonderful. Also it exposes our child to a variety of foods. The quality is high and consistent. I recommend this service highly, the quality is great.

We recently used Busy Bee for an anniversary/slash birthday party for about 80 guests. I cannot…read morespeak highly enough of Dani, who was prompt in response, very friendly, and professional. I really had no idea exactly what I wanted, but after our first call and her suggestions I was very excited about the offerings and kept all Dani's excellent suggestions. Pricing was absolutely reasonable. They arrived on the day of the event promptly, set up everything beautifully on the serving space and were nothing but gracious and courteous the whole time. The guests LOVED the food. Especially the marinated chicken thighs and the potato salad. I even received comments from guests the veggie tray was one of the most beautiful they had ever seen. All the other dishes were delicious as well and there was more than enough to send leftovers home with everyone who wanted some. Busy Bee elevated my event into something even more special by providing such amazing food. I never worried once about any part of catering, as they were the easiest to work with all around. I would absolutely use them again and likely will!

Busy Bee Catering swooped in and saved the day with their "Sides-Giving" offerings fit for royalty! Their fluffy mashed potatoes and gravy were divine. Their chicken apple sausage stuffing was a show stopper, as was the relish tray (as big as a trough for my goats), roasted vegetables and Fall harvest salad topped with sinfully delicious candied pecans. I feel like getting married again so Busy Bee Catering can handle the food. Thank you so much! You'll be seeing me and my hungry tummy again SOON!
