We have bought this service for two groups of our friends…read more One of the couples had recently had their very first child, and we thought it would be really helpful for them to have a supply of good food around to eat at any time, since with a new born they probably wouldn't have much time to cook, sleep, eat, or do any of the other basic activities of life.. The other group were a small family with two parents that worked full time as professionals, and had kids, and we thought they would also benefit from having Chef Colleen come to their house and make them a weeks worth of food. Both recipients of our gift raved about it and gave us great feedback. We were so pleased to give a gift that someone really could use and appreciate! I think for the first group, with the new mom, it might have kept her from starving herself... She told us that Colleen was easy and pleasant to deal with, was happy to teach while she was creating meals for them, and that the food creations tasted great! The feedback from the other new family was also as positive as the first! I am not certain about every option this service provides, but I can tell you that Chef Colleen is a very pleasant, and talented person that provides excellent service, and great food well worth the price. We made breakfast sausage, buttermilk biscuits, chicken fried steak, country cream gravy, crispy hash browns, sunny side up eggs, fruit salad, and Texas sheet cake and somehow it all came together into an incredibly delicious meal. Chef Ted was warm, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful throughout the class. At one point I was deep in ADHD overwhelm trying to keep up with the Texas sheet cake while everyone else seemed miles ahead, but Chef Ted and Madison (KA) stepped in, got me across the finish line and the cake turned out great!!!! The class was instructional and a little fast-paced in the best way. The two hours flew by!! It felt busy but never stressful, and sitting down to eat what we made together was the perfect payoff. Two thumbs (or forks?) way way up. Definitely recommend and would absolutely do another class!! We're already talking with friends about booking a private group night.
