I love everything about Fire Foods!…read more This location is in Chinatown, surrounded by beautiful cultural buildings and other amazing local businesses. The owner is incredibly welcoming and kind. I love how she shows that food can be both delicious and supportive of your health and fitness goals. I've tried a variety of meals, including the steak and sweet potato, Cajun pasta, teriyaki chicken bowls, and banana nut pancakes. Every meal has been handcrafted to perfection, and I'd say they beat most restaurants nowadays. I've recommended Fire Foods to friends and family with different health and fitness goals, including athletes, and they all end up loving it. Skip the fast-food drive-thru and give Fire Foods Meal Prep a try. You won't be disappointed!

This happened to me at least five times in a row. Every time I reached out I had to double text or even send four or five messages to get a response and then the only response to my concerns and how I felt about my experience was " I'm giving you a refund" or "will do". When I said, I would like to be notified about any changes in my meal prior to delivery. Mind you this is an Instagram page and these messages are through direct message after I expressed my concern for the 5th time and said "I enjoy your meals, I just don't want this to happen again". She proceeds to unfollow me as if she's upset with me for her business's lack of communication and order packaging?? Bottom line is she is very unprofessional and not empathetic towards customers concerns and lack of communication from her directly.

Location: Pig Out Clovis Date: August 15, 2026…read moreService: Online Order This week my call is and I decided to splurge a tincy bit for buying food online. I asked and everybody wanted to try who didn't try already everyone said the food was delicious they didn't leave any leftovers.. and I'm happy to say that they accommodated us because I wanted each meal to say what it is this way nobody has confusion of who has what order. Overall I highly recommend that you check them out if you have not already then you need to do it again I will be returning and in the near future they also do party planner size food tray Foods if needed just ask.

We were really happy with the flavors. We ordered three of the 2 meat combos for $20 (so $60 total) and we were not able to finish it, so this became a meal for 2 days. That's a great price for that amount of great food. The sausage was flavorful and delicious. The rib tips were soft, tender, and yummy. The brisket was a bit dry and I only got one slice and a quarter slice of it (see picture) which I thought was kind of skimpy though. The pork belly and tritip were pretty dry, so I probably won't order those anymore. The sticky rice was perfect and I love that it absorbed the yummy flavors of the meats. It came with 2 sauces, one spicy and one bbq. The meats that were too dry needed the sauces, but the brisket and rib tips were perfect on their own. Overall, I would order from here again, but avoid the pork belly and tritip tip.

You get a weekly box which is available for pick up at various drop locations around Fresno. You can choose to have veggies and fruits added or deleted as the week prior a list of what is coming. In your is sent to your email. You can also add eggs, bread, chocolate, coffee, mushrooms and other high quality goods and the cost is just added to your bill. If you need to go on vacation you can easily pause your box for a set amount of time and resume when you wish. The veggies are very fresh and high quality. You receive a wide range of seasonal produce. This week there were collard greens, mandarins, navel oranges, onions, gold potatoes, beets with greens attached, leek, cabbage and shallots. This is a tremendous service; they have even started offering home delivery for an additional fee. If you recommend someone there is a reward system in place. Great!

Ooooby now has 100% customizable boxes! Ooooby Fresno is a Community Supported Agriculture service…read more CSAs allow you to have direct access to high quality, fresh produce grown locally by regional farmers. When you become a member of a CSA, you're purchasing a "share" of vegetables from those farmers. As a CSA, Ooooby has been around for many years under a different name; they are now called "Ooooby" which stands for Out of Our Own Backyard because all of the produce is local. Some of their produce comes from as far away as San Benito or Monterey counties, but that's about as far as your produce is going to come from, which I think is really cool. You can can choose from a variety of sizes of boxes - Small, Medium, and Oooober and choose whether to get your box every week or every other week. You replenish your account the week before a delivery is due. When you know you'll be out of town or need a break, you can schedule a "pause" and you won't receive or be billed for that week's delivery. Before, each box came with set contents and you are notified of the box contents and add-ons for the week on the Thursday before your delivery. At that point, you could swap out one or two items if you know, for instance, that you don't like beets. (Side note, if you don't like beets, try peeling them, cutting into quarters, drizzle with olive oil and lil salt and roast them - they are delish!) Ooooby also posts a list of the produce and other products that are offered that week and you can add additional items to your box. These are called add-ons - I LOVE add-ons! because the extras include a bouquet of herbs or locally roasted coffee beans or teas or Enzo olive oil and Mama Mia par-baked pizza crusts - so yumm!! When your box arrives, there is a sheet, on one side listing the items in your box and a note from Ooooby about what's going on right now, and on the other side are two recipes that use box contents and a tip or note on how to care for box contents, for instance, how best to keep parsley in your fridge. They're so helpful! Now, however, you can totally pick and choose which items you want in your box. Our family receives a medium size box every 2 weeks because I like to supplement with local farmers markets around town. I am excited to customize my box even more now! Unprofessional Cancellation, Undercooked Food, Pathetic Contract Excuse, and Zero Accountability -…read moreNot a Luxury Chef Service I hired this company expecting a luxury in-home meal prep service. During the initial consultation, I was 100% upfront and told them I have young kids and pets. They sent me a Pinterest board to select my meals from. That's not what I consider a luxury in-home chef experience! Week 1: The oatmeal was completely inedible and the dressing ratio was way off. I gave them honest feedback when they asked for it. Week 2: Pink, undercooked chicken -- a serious food safety risk that could have made my family sick. Attached picture Instead of taking any accountability for their repeated mistakes, they tried to blame me. Their only way of handling poor food quality seems to be shifting the blame onto the client -- even though they are the professionals working in my home. Then they used a ridiculous excuse to cancel future service, which honestly I'm happy about, becasure the food isn't good! . Here is the exact wording from the contract they attached: "we reserve the right to cancel your in-home meal prep service at any time, if a chef arrives and finds that the information provided during the client consultation phone call was inaccurate they can refuse to perform service. This included, but is not limited to, an unusable kitchen, unsafe working conditions, or pets that are not contained outside of the kitchen. We also reserve the right to discontinue a service before completion if a pets are not contained and children are not supervised as this can create an unsafe environment for both the chef and the client" My son politely asked the chef if she likes Play-Doh and my dog accidentally walking into the house for a moment created an "unsafe work environment." That is laughable and immature. If those reasons are why you can't properly cook chicken, there is a bigger problem! Nothing was different from Week 1 to Week 2. It was the same chef. She had already worked in my home the previous week and knew exactly what the environment was like. She stayed and completed the entire service without any complaint. If it was truly unsafe, why didn't she refuse to continue "at any time" like the contract says she could? Because it wasn't unsafe. It was just a cheap excuse to avoid responsibility for their own screw-ups. Also, why come back week 2? Audrey may be a decent chef herself, but she clearly cannot run a professional company. I seriously question whether the chefs she sends into people's homes are even properly trained, licensed, or insured to be there. I've had a real private chef in Los Angeles for over 10 years. This Pinterest-level meal options - and of constant excuses and zero professionalism does not meet any reasonable standards for a luxury in-home chef service. They offered meals prepared in their kitchen and delivered as an alternative, but after this experience , I told them to never contact me again! Do NOT waste your money with this company. Inconsistent and sometimes unsafe food quality, unprofessional communication, and they'll cancel on you over normal family life the moment something goes wrong on their end. Stay far away.

I was so excited to use Chef Audrey for my club's annual Tea Party fundraiser. We were going to…read morehave actual tea party food served at our event. The food presented at our tasting was both visually appealing, heartly looking, fresh and tasty. Artisan bread, thicker sliced roast beef, a delicious chucky chicken salad, herb cream cheese english cucumber sandwiches, spinach & feta mini tartlets, and individual baby arugula salad cups with shaved parmesan & lemon vinaigrette. Yummy!!! Our agreement was 2k in costs to create the menu since tea party food is much more labor extensive plus cost of actual product used. I thought that was fair and helpful. Sadly, that is not what we received day of the event...for 234 guests. Evidently she had problems with employee's not showing up to create the menu, and to be plated at our event. We were to supply 10 volunteers to get the food out to our guests, luckily I had an additional 16 volunteers that were able to help her. Not enough tartlets were made for all the guests to get 2, and there were not enough cucumber sandwiches for every guest. Her solution for this issue was to remove the product costs for the tartlets & cucumber sandwiches since not every guest received them. At this point I just needed to get our guests feed and encourage her to keep herself together. Here's where it gets worse. The food wasn't anywhere near the quality, or flavor of what I tasted. The bread was not the same, it was cheap store bought sliced white bread. The roast beef was not the same, it was the prepackage lunch meat from the grocery store, and the chicken was from a can, not the beautifully diced chicken. Nothing that I tasted was served. There was no salad in cups prepared ahead of time, it had to be placed on the same plate as the tea sandwiches. I understand that things can happen and substitutions will need to be made, but not for everything. I felt that we did not receive 2k worth of "labor, transport, and plating" to her high quality standards, and she was unwilling to reduce that price, that had already been paid. From our prospective it felt like it was a bait and switch. Clearly, whatever employee issues she had, it started well before the day of our event. It was a just an awful experience and our only complaint was about the food, which by all accounts, should have been amazing. What a sad and embarrassing experience.
