Southern raised girl here. Initially I was like " how southern can he be... from Napa?" I was pleasantly surprised. Chef David was selected for his southern cuisine. We started with the crab cakes that were amazing. Light and full of crab meat. Then the salad, yummy and filling. The main course, fried chicken with a light crunchy batter, lobster Mac n cheese and asparagus. No lie, I was full after the salad. The main course was so good and then there was bread pudding with pecans. Everyone ate their plates clean. So the next morning, guess what I had for breakfast; leftovers which were better than ever. Chef David was incredible! He arrived at the house while our group was out wine tasting and he got settled and cooking smoothly. Dinner was ready about 30-45min after we arrived back at the house. David set the table, plated and presented each dish, and did all of the dishes! On top of the delicious meal, he made it so easy for all of us. I absolutely recommend the risotto and bread pudding. Chef David, by far, prepared the best meal I have ever had. I wish I could request it as my last meal honestly. My relatives are still raving about it! If we didn't have to move to NJ, we would be begging Chef David to come back again to cook for us- by far, his crab cakes were THE BEST we have EVER had, and we both have lived in Maryland! Every dish was superb and decadent with so much delectable richness and flavor. The lobster mac and cheese was unreal. UNREAL!!! I never thought I would like bread pudding but I had to try it and boy I'm glad I did. That was the best bread pudding I have ever had and WILL EVER have in my life! Chef David was very polite and personable. Even before starting to cook he made the kitchen smell like HEAVEN. And he left EVERYTHING in our kitchen the way it had been before cooking. I had chef David do a small party for me and my girls. He made poppers, salmon, asparagus wrapped in bacon, and white rice. And everything was amazing not one complaint except I want more!!!! The food was prepared beautifully the salmon was so tender I never had the skin on it and loved it. Chef David is an amazing chef! My girlfriend surprised me with a birthday dinner and it was a fantastic experience! The food was incredible!

Chef David provided my friends and I with our very first in home private dining experience. The food was INCREDIBLE and the experience was amazing. David arrived with plenty of time to prep. He was relaxed (or at least seemed it) the whole time which made it feel even more relaxing for all of us just sitting around watching him. He was very polite and professional. David is very talented at what he does! He takes great pride and concentration into his meal prepping and cooking. David came and cooked for my husband and myself. He asked some things we liked and things we didn't like and he took care of the rest! He came to our home and made dinner and even took care of the dishes. He made his stuffed burgers, with his cream cheese, Bacon broccoli, and potatoes and the food was so savory and delicious I didn't want to to eat it too fast because I wanted it to last! It was truly scrumptious... the leftovers were just as good, too! We were visiting California on vacation from the East coast and we needed someone to come in and cook for us our last night of vacation, and boy did I make the right choice! Chef David had to endure a 30 minute windy drive up a mountain and didn't even bat an eye! He arrived on time and with the best attitude. He started cooking for us right away while we just relaxed outside, he even put on amazing music that put us all in the mood to sip our wine and relax and enjoy ourselves! Not only is he a good chef, he is a kind, friendly and easy going person. Our first course was crab cakes and the downside is that now crab cakes anywhere but Chef David's version are ruined. 7 our of 7 of us agreed, they were the best crab cakes we have EVER had! Full of crab meet, over a delicious aoli and huge portions. AMAZING. We then got a salad course, which was light with delicious, fresh flavors that complemented each other and the perfect segway into our main course. Chef David catered to our families wishes and even did special request to two of our Pescetarian family members who had salmon which they said was deliciously seasoned and perfectly cooked. The rest of us had filet with lobster tail, broccolini and mashed potatoes. Everything was cooked perfectly, timed well and delicious! Rave reviews all around. While we wait he did all the dishes at the house so we had to worry about NOTHING! Lastly after clean up he came out with homemade warm peach cobbler. Talk about an amazing end to an amazing night! We are forever grateful to Chef David for making the end of our vacation spectacular, catering to our special needs and dealing with a terrible drive and no a/c in the kitchen. Chef David and his mom came through and nailed dinner! We did the beef sliders, walnut and cranberry salad, crab Mac and cheese and ribeyes! There were 20 people at dinner and every single plate was delicious and perfectly cooked. Most restaurants can't handle a party like this with an entire staff, he and his mother did it single handedly and killed it. Last night we had an in home dining experience that was absolutely amazing. Chef David Brazeel came to our house and prepared a fabulous meal that we selected from his extensive menu. From the preparation to the desert it was an experience that you have to have to believe. Our meal was Caesar salad, crab cakes, Beef Wellington with mashed potatoes and asparagus. Every meal should end with desert. We chose his bread pudding with bourbon sauce. As we enjoyed dinner, David's work continued. Before leaving all the dishes were put in the dishwasher and cleaned. His personality completed the evening. He was pleasant and very engaging. It felt like having an evening with a friend or family. I wish I could write a longer review but I'm recovering from surgery on my right arm. Which is partly why we used Chef David for a party of 16 at our place. Chef David and his mom were super friendly and professional. The food was phenomenal (didn't sound fancy, but everyone LOVED it -- stuffed chicken, mac and cheese, brussel sprouts for adults, chicken fingers and mac and cheese for the kids). The price was also great. They left the kitchen spotless. I wouldn't hesitate to use his services again. Stellar!! Stellar eating experience! I have had several dinners prepared by Chef David and they have all been fantastic! However, tonight was exceptional..my expectation was greatly exceeded by a beautiful display of a seared pork chop dish, creamed cauliflower (which I don't normally even like) and a bacon Brussel sprout dish. You couldn't get a finer dinner in our local vicinity for sure.
