I told Samantha about what we liked/disliked, and she came up with a fantastic menu along with a wine pairing for each course. Correspondence was prompt, and (for an over-planner like me) it felt like she had everything under control and I had nothing to worry about. I was right :) It was so nice to return to our vacation home after a day visiting wineries to meet her getting all set up in the kitchen. She made all my guests feel welcome, and we enjoyed some time on the back patio where she brought us a beautiful charcuterie board and wine. My husband and guests were so excited that we could just sit back and relax! No reservations to rush off to, or meal to cook ourselves... Truly a great way to end the day. We then moved inside to the dining room for the remainder of dinner. The table had been set beautifully, and each course was absolutely delicious. I enjoyed hearing Samantha present each one - you can tell she is passionate about each dish. They were perfectly plated, impeccably timed, and SO yummy! Our group was definitely having a great time (how can you NOT when good food and wine is involved?!), and Samantha and her assistant were so easy to get along with. They felt like friends by the end of the night. While it was a very luxurious dinner, it was also SO relaxing to be comfortable in our own space. Our friends continue (nearly a month later) to talk about how fun the night was and how much they loved the food.
