I tasted Chef Jeff's food for the first time at a wedding reception this year. I told my husband that I hoped our friend was not charged a lot for his daughter's wedding because the food was mediocre at best. I could have made better tasting food. I have no clue how this guy has been voted best of Texarkana, not good. (I HAD to give at least one star because of yelp's software, otherwise it would be no star). read more

The store is also setup well so you're efficiently provided access to the products, directed to the cashier and easy access out to the small parking lot.

I ordered a scoop of their espresso gelato, but the portion was so small it looked more like a child-sized sample than a proper scoop. Then, for an additional charge, I received a drizzle of flavorless chocolate sauce. When I asked for cookie crumbles, I was charged another $1.00 and given what amounted to about a quarter of an Oreo cookie. I'm not exaggerating. I'm a small person, so I know what a modest portion looks like--but this was tiny, even by my standards. It felt more appropriate for a 5-year-old than a paying customer. What frustrates me most is when "specialty" shops charge premium prices for products that don't feel special at all. The only thing that seemed exceptional here was the inflated cost. In all honesty, I would have enjoyed a Peanut Buster Parfait from Dairy Queen far more.

We told them it was our first time and they helped us make our choices, by informing us of their items. I got the ghost pepper cheese burger with a side of cheese curds and my wife got the classic cheese burger with fries. It took less than 10 minutes to receive our food after we ordered. Everything was fresh, even the fries so it was all very hot, nothing that had been precooked sitting under a heat lamp. The ghost pepper cheese burger was phenomenal! It was the perfect amount of spicy. Just enough that you were able to eat without discomfort but by the end, you had a little sweat on your head . The cheese curds were very good too and I felt the size I got (regular) was the perfect size. My wife ordered the classic cheese burger. She said hers was good, but not 5 star good. Her only complaint was that the meat did not have enough seasoning. She said a little more salt would have made it a 5 ‍. Overall, I loved this place and can't wait to go back for more.
