The company I work for purchases ready to go hot and cold meals from Chef Paul for the staff. I have never had a bad meal! I've had everything from roast beef on a bun or a ham and cheese sandwich to a full turkey dinner and every time it has been fresh and delicious. They include everything you could possibly need, right down to the cranberry sauce. I'm so glad our company uses Chef Paul to feed us, and I hope they continue to in the future. read more

Last minute, I realised that I had neither the energy nor the desire to do the prep for my daughter's fourth birthday party so I Googled nearby caterers (being new to Niagara Falls) and found Chef Paul's. I contacted them on a long weekend and was stunned that I received a response on the Sunday. They were already winning brownie points on that front. I looked at the menus and was again surprised at how well priced and vast the options were. For less than $10 a person, I could WELL feed a party (including pop/water/coffee and tea services). On the day of the party (February 24th), the caterer arrived, set up in excellent time and left after explaining that they would collect the serving instruments the following day. The food looked amazing and it tasted even better. Everything was fresh, the gluten-free options were carefully labelled and frankly, neither myself nor my guests could have been happier. I would HIGHLY recommend this company. The only advice I would offer management is to PLEASE include a tip option on your credit card (and I am assuming debit card) payment options. My husband and I had a wonderful day of golfing in a recent tournament in Niagara Falls. (I am not going to name the golf course because it has nothing to do with that). After the golfing, we were ready to enjoy a meal on site. I was NOT impressed by any means by the food we were given. Every plate that was brought out to our table was cold and disgusting. It had no taste what-so-ever, and the portions were pitiful. I asked the person in charge and they uncomfortably told us that it was "Chef Paul". He supposedly does catering, and provides this golf course with meals at their functions. Hi there We went with Chef Paul for my children's Baptism as he was highly recommend. We had several people at our party that has his food before and this was not his food at all. There was not enough food for everyone example roast beef we were lucky if there was 1 slice per person. Potatoes were not cooked and still crunchy. Salad was soggie along with the croutons. I was told the dressing would not be put on until it got to the hall which is not what happened. Food was cold as the heaters ran out of oil within 5 mins. Poor communication with the person that dropped it off we told him to come back at 3:30 or text if they could not. We heard nothing back. When my mom called to let them where to pick up the trays and talk about the issue the lady was not very nice to her and did not even really care. Did not even ask how can we fix this nothing as we have another function schedule with them at the beginning of May which we are going to cancel. Poor customer service. read more

Last night, Chef Paul catered a buffet for the Kentucky Derby Party at our Social Club and it was the worst meal we've ever had! It started with Caesar Salad and from one bowl the salad had a bad taste that couldn't be eaten, from another bowl, the lettuce was gritty as though it had not been washed and still contained dirt. The "Assorted Breads" turned out to be sandwich bread, some served still in the wrapper. The butter was served in a solid block that was so cold and hard it couldn't be spread on the bread, that is for those who ate the bread, then a tray of cold cuts. The veggie tray had small pieces of celery, wedges of tomato, a sliced cucumber, and baby carrots, no broccoli or cauliflower usually found on a veggie tray. Dessert was a tray of squares, cut in pieces, but still in the huge slab the way it was bought. We all agreed that they tasted stale. That's it, and that was supposed to be our dinner at 5:30pm. read more

We had Chef Paul cater our outdoor wedding. For starters, everything was great in the beginning. We had a meeting with him, paid our deposit, and everything was set. After he received our deposit, trying to get a hold of him was a nightmare. He didn't return our voicemail or emails for months. I was only able to reach him via text. He originally mentioned he would be coming to look at the venue the week of the wedding to see where it would be and how he would set up. During the week of our wedding, he was scheduled to come Thursday to deliver all his equipment. He did not show up and was unreachable. He didn't show up till the night before our wedding at 7pm. We had people waiting all day to set the linens on the tables and finish decorating, which couldn't be done until the very last second. We never actually saw him after our original meeting, when he said he would be the one to plate our meal, etc. He sent some rude guy named Dan. Our only specific request for our meal was asparagus and peppers for our vegetable. He gave us a menu write up, that we had printed for each table showing asparagus and peppers would be served, Instead we had green beans and carrots. They never brought cups for the bar so after our ceremony, my Dad had to run out and buy plastic solo cups so our guests could at least have a drink. They had left dinner rolls behind and when we went to eat some the next day, we saw on the bag they were a week outdated. He also mentioned he had his own tent that he would set up for himself to arrange the plates. They brought a tent, but didn't set it up because it was raining. What's the point of a tent?!?!?! Instead, they had to set up in the garage, which was already set up for the band to use as their quiet area between sets. Everything had to be rearranged because they were not prepared. Chef Paul said that if we needed linens for any extra tables, to send him measurements and he would provide them. I sent him measurements two weeks before, he confirmed he received them, and yet the linens were shorted, so we had no linens for 5 of our tables.
