This was an absolutely incredible experience. I had it my best friends bachelorette in Ellicott Ville, and George Dolce came to the rescue. My best friend the bride to be, had always wanted a chef experience. George provided anything but basic. He went above and beyond starting us with the following: A beautiful cheese platter, Stuffed artichokes, stuffed peppers, filet mignon with a Demi glaze, shrimp risotto and tiramisu. Excellent food, excellent customer service, I would highly recommend! A while back, I placed an order for a taco bar to feed a training class of tow truck drivers, and I wasn't totally impressed with the portions, or food, it was good just not GREAT. George (owner) saw the review and called me personally to make it right. He offered to send over an enchilada bar- let me tell you, the guys went crazy over the food. They raved about it, overate until they couldn't eat anymore and there was still a bunch left. Next opportunity I get, I will definitely order from Dolce Amore/George again. We used George and Dolce Amore Catering for our wedding last July and, to start off I have to say, the food was absolutely incredible. Almost a year later we still have people commenting that they loved our selection of appetizers and still remember how delicious the buffet was. All the food was prepared on site and exceeded our expectations. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was because of some hiccups with scheduling. We were planning our wedding from out of state and a slight struggle in connecting with George initially, however, he made sure to rectify the situation and in the end, his service was first class. Found this Place, had them cater our office party and the food was remarkable. Had stuffed shells with a white sauce and like a stuffed chicken that was amazing. Along with roasted veggies and a side salad. My office was very satisfied, couldn't stop complimenting the food. I would def get catering from them again! read more

George catered a surprise cocktail party for my husband's 50th birthday. He and the server, Diana, made party planning and execution a breeze. The food was outstanding, elegant, and plentiful. Diana's set-up, service and clean-up was wonderful. We got my husband out of the house at 4:45, Diana arrived at 5 with more food than I expected, and everything was set up and ready for our guests by 6. No sweat! George is very good to work with. He's pretty laid back (and quite a character I have to say). He had great ideas for my fall winery wedding. The food tasted great (I have to get his secret to his salad dressing, everyone raved about it). The food didn't look incredibly appealing but the taste was delicious. Everyone said good things about it. The only bad thing was they ran out of food towards the last tables. The price was really great, as some of the other caterers charged a lot (especially when you started adding coffee and appetizers). I would definitely recommend George if you want someone reasonably priced, laid back, good menu ideas that aren't the every day, and taste delicious. read more

I use Dolce Amore for EVERYTHING. My husband had his stag at Kenmore Knights of Columbis and Dolce Amore's kitchen is on site. He wanted some good food but obviouslly didn't want a high cost. George Dolce had us name a price and he made the mnu based on that. He expected bare minimum but instead got pulled pork, mac & cheese, roast beef, and a gourmet salad. It was delicious according to all the guys. I noticed he also did Italian cookies so I went ahead and ordered about 20 pounds for my wedding - everyone loved the chocolate balls. I also liked the pistachio cookies. We then used him again and again for bithday parties, work luncheons, at corporate challenge he came and cooked at our tent, my sister's graduation party, and even a couple last minute calls to provide food to friends that just experienced a loss. After having a really tough year, my family and I decided to have Thanksgiving dinner catered. Since we are a group of picky eaters, we were a bit reticent at first to have the meal catered. Several people in the family are major cooks and are rather discerning because of this. Nevertheless, we couldn't have been happier with our decision to have Dolce Amore make our traditional Thanksgiving meal for 22 guests. George is very laid back and easy to work with. The presentation of his food was amazing, and the meal was delivered on time and piping hot. (He even helped us set everything up when he delivered it.) Often times catered meals taste bland and almost like banquet food that has been prepared days in advance. George's meal, however, had a "top chef" flavor. Servings were also plentiful with enough for leftovers. Pricing was very reasonable as well. I would recommend Dolce Amore catering to anyone! read more

George catered my daughter's first birthday party and the food was amazing! Out of the many caterers and restaurants that I looked into to cater the event, George by far was the most reasonable and offered the most food. George met with me months beforehand to discuss the menu. George is nice and is flexible. The food was delicious...from the appetizers-cheese, crackers, veggies, fruit,and pita pizzas (the pita pizzas are fantastic).... to the salads, pasta salad, risotto, macaroni and cheese and hamburger sliders!
