My Husband and I live in the Niagara area in Ontario, Canada and used to make the trip to Gagsters every month and sometimes we would bring our grown children and the whole family, including my sisters and my brother and their families. We have often mentioned how much we miss coming for pizza and wings and the cozy atmosphere at Gagsters during this crazy COVID time. Looking forward to the day the border re-opens and things get back to normal so that we may once again visit our favorite pizza and chicken wing restaurant. Food is ok. Service is great. The Coke tasted stale. The Diet Coke was OK and the beer was very good. The pizza turnover was tasty and had fresh ingredients. The sausage burger was gristly. The chicken sandwich was good. The pepper poppers were wonderfully spicy and properly cooked. The french fries were under done. I had not been in for awhile but the atmosphere is still there and the floors were dirty! Hidden Breakfast Gem! Surprise! Who would have thought one of the best pizza joints in town is also one of the best breakfast joints? The service was awesome! Nicole was friendly and attentive. Coffee was always full. Our food was prepared quickly and it was delicious. My husband and I ordered our breakfast favs, he an omelet with ham, cheddar, onion, and tomato with Italian toast, a side of bacon and sausage. Me, eggs Benedict with homefries and a pancake to share. This was an awesome breakfast all the way around! We will definitely be back. We like to breakfast at different places and do our own ratings. Went in here yesterday (Sunday) for dinner. We got there at 7:30pm and noticed the place closed at 8:00pm, wow that's pretty early. We walked in and we're greeted by the waitress, she quickly took our drink order and gave us menus--she was on top of things. The place inside is old and dark. You would think a place like this would have good meal deals and low prices-nope. Surprisingly, they have no pizza and wing combo on their menu. You can get a mini calzone and 10 wings for $15 but that didn't turn me on. We ordered 20 wings, half mild/half hot, large fries, and garlic bread with cheese. The fries came out quickly and were cooked well but were dry. Next, the garlic bread which oddly was just pieces of bread topped with garlic butter and cheese, however it did taste good. Now the wings--they were crispy, but they were missing something. They hardly had any sauce on them and they were certainly missing a buttery/saucy taste. Compared to some of the other local wing places I wouldn't rate these wings near the top, pretty mediocre. The blue cheese wasn't that tasty and they hardly gave you any celery. I guess the best part about this place is the service, so perhaps it's best left for just a couple beers. read more

We haven't been to Gagsters since COVID. We made a special trip October 2022 just to have wings. Terrible, Terrible, Terrible. We always have the buffalo salad, tasteless! Then we waited for the wings. They had no sauce, were large mostly legs, tasting like they had been in the microwave. They were so bad we ate 2 each and left the rest. Our bill was over $50 and they charge you extra on the bill if you use VISA. With exchange the bill was over $70 Canadian. We will never, never return! It was Friday night, and there was one other couple and us. We use to have to line up. We expected the prices to be higher and we don't mind paying for quality but the wings were horrible. read more

I was searching for Buffalo Wings in Niagara Falls. I saw a few reviews on this place and decided to check it. I was surprised that I had driven by this place many times and never really noticed it. It actually sit off of Pine Street on East Market, but is more identifiable as across from the McDonalds in the parking lot. I expected the inside too be much larger than what it was. There is a bar upon entering and an "small" dining area. I decided to do takeout. The menu had some decent items and it took me a few minutes to choose, as I stood at the bar. The staff was helpful and attentive and helped me and making a selection.. They were very friendly as well. I ultimately decided on the Medium Buffalo Wings and a Personal Pan. As I waited I watched the Sabres game on the television. Several people left there table and watched the game as well. Many complimented the food that they had and told me I would enjoy mine. They were right! I found the wings too be some of the best that I have had in Niagara Falls. They were well done and seasoned right. My wife enjoyed them as well, giving them thumbs up. The person pizza was fillling and with the wings , we shared are were aptly full. The pizza had the right amount of sauce, cheese and pepperonis. We were surprised at the quality of the personal pizza since it is a relativel inexpensive item on the menu. Overall it was a great experience. read more

Gagsters used to be my favourite wing and pizza place in Niagara Falls, NY. The pizza and wings are still great but the staff, well that part of the experience unfortunately doesn't equal the food experience. First off. You are greeted...sometimes by two grouchy women. They must be the owners' wife and mother. My guess. They always sit on their butts and sometimes watch what is happening in the restaurant. Most of the time they are just sitting playing on their iPads. The next thing is the staff. Some of them are gems, if you get the right one. The remainder are just lazy. There seems to be 1 server for every two tables. Many of them just stand around outside the restaurant waiting for their orders and people to come in. Gagsters used to be busy every Friday and Saturday. The last few times it has been very quiet. Looks like the Canadians who used to consume the parking spots are not coming over. The experience of the restaurant starts with the support staff. They just seem to take their lead from the two women sitting on their iPads. We won't be going back to Gagsters for quite some time. Had dinner here after participating in their 22nd Annual Golf Tournament. They have a large outdoor special event dining area that is covered and lighted which is great for large groups. As for the restaurants menu I am unable to comment on since my meal was part of our groups "family style" menu but if the quality of food is anything like that of which we had it must be excellent. read more

My husband and I have been eating low carb for a while and decided to fulfill a craving and order pizza and wings from Gangsters after reading many high rated reviews. We ordered a half tray cheese pizza, 30 crisp wings done in three different sauces; medium, barbecue and honey garlic, cheesy garlic bread and beans and greens soup. The pizza was just OK. Thick crust, slightly sweet sauce and plenty of cheese. The crust was slightly under done. There was no golden brown color on the bottom, and it was slightly doughy. The wings were horrible. We always order our wings crisp, and they were nothing near that. Although the wings were cooked through the skin was soggy. And the sauces, yuck! Medium sauce taste more like butter and heat. No real flavor. Barbecue was a cheap quality barbecue sauce. Not saucy at all. And lastly, the honey garlic had absolutely no garlic flavor. All we could taste was sweet, sticky honey. The best, was the cheesy garlic bread. Plenty of buttery garlic flavor and cheese on nicely toasted Italian bread. We didn't even try the soup. With disliking most of the meal, we didn't even want to chance it. We definitely will not be going back. read more

Went for some wings & pizza during a family getaway, after being recommended to us by some locals. Place is not in the greatest part of town, and it certainly doesn't look like its been updated inside for years, but the food was very good. Gagsters is a bar/restaurant, and the inside is done in grey & beige tones. A large bar with stools greets you as soon as you enter, along with tables and seating in the rear of the restaurant, along with a large side room with even more seating for diners. We had a tray of white pizza (think cheesy garlic bread on a pizza crust), which I would happily get again, but maybe add some tomatoes and mushrooms to for next time. Also had a tray of pepperoni pizza, which had a really delicious red sauce and spicy mini pepperoni. Both pizzas were excellent and were very generous in size. Good amount of cheese and a little greasy too (yum!),which reminds me of our pizza haunt back home we love. We had an order of 50 wings, half medium and half garlic parmesan. The wings were not saucy at all, but had great flavour, were nice and meaty and were again, generous in size. Came with blue cheese dip and celery. Jill our waitress was wonderful. She was very friendly and answered all of our questions. Food came out quickly and she checked on us several times to see if she could get us anything else. We left with containers of leftover pizza and wings to enjoy the next day. Will definitely come back the next time we're in for a visit. read more

I often go to gagsters when in Niagara Falls. Quite simply it is a very unique place to get dinner. The walls are filled with with caricatures of the locals that frequent the restaurant. The pizza is amazing especially the steak sub pizza. Chicken wings are great and all portions are large. A great appetizer is the deep fried mozzarella. I highly recommend this restaurant, as I come here very often. The service is great, the dining area is very clean, and the beer is very cold. read more

Beer, Pizza and Wings.. how can this get any better! We were visiting Niagara Falls and were told to go into Buffalo to have the wings, but family recommended this little hole in the wall just 15 minutes from where we were staying across the bridge. First off we had a very large group (10 people mix of adults and kids) and the waitress was fantastic. She was on cue, always checking in on us and getting drinks, and a constant supply of water. The beer list was typical east coast dive bar so we ordered a bucket of Rolling Rock and the mildness of this beer goes perfect with the flavors of the wings, made me glad there wasnt a craft beer on tap... but maybe that's just my nostalgia talking! Now on to the wings, make sure you order them extra crispy, I am gonna try asking for this on the west coast and see what they say.. maybe its just a NY thing? Either way, they were awesome! Big drumsticks and wings covered in a delicious buffalo sauce. We ordered the traditional Hot and Medium and they had the proper amount of heat and tanginess. Then we got adventurous and ordered the garlic parmesan and honey ginger. The honey ginger was just ok, not bad but I prefer that flavor with my noodles vs wings, but the garlic parmesan knocked my socks off! I never order the dry rubs but I would order this flavor over and over again! So make sure you grab a couple on your next visit. Now onto the pizza. We ordered a large traditional cheese and pepperoni and it came square cut with a nice thick homemade crust. It was so yummy and made me long to live closer to a place like this!
