I am a new resident to Kissimmee, Florida and was looking for someone to cater my birthday/housewarming/retirement/holiday party this year (2022). I found Chef Kelvin through Yelp and am so glad I did. Chef Kelvin Walker was a pleasure to work with. Although it was only July and my party was in December, over the next several months, Chef Kelvin assisted me in developing and planning a menu for 75, to include vegetarians and gluton-free guests. A week before the party, Chef Kelvin came by to see the facility and made great suggestions for the layout and flow of the service, in addition to providing decorating tips. On the day of the event, he arrived several hours before the start with a team of wonderful young staff. They were uniformed, professional, friendly, polite and provided excellent customer service! Even to say the food was "great," would be doing Chef Kelvin a disservice...it was extraordinary. My guest raved about the food! Everything was so tasty and well-seasoned! The lamb chops were "to die for" and the shrimp skewers, sweet chicken wings and salmon were awesome! The Mac & Cheese and Roasted Potatoes were big hits as were the brocollini and roasted asparagus. We had two desserts, Chocolate Desire Cake and Salted Caramel Cake (the guest favorite). Once the food was prepared and served, the staff cleaned up, to include mopping the floors, and packed up. Chef Kelvin Catering provided outstanding service which made my party a hit! I recommend him without reservation and he and his team will be my first choice for future events. Let me start off by saying this was a great experience. We vacation every year around or on my mother's birthday and we give her a party. This time we wanted to switch it up and give her something unexpected and elegant. When I reached out to Chef Kelvin he answered all my questions (I had a lot) with no problem. There were 18 of us! Yes 18! Chef and crew came in at the time he gave- even though it was storming. They came in all work! We had an issue with the seating-!!this was my fault not his!!! When I tell you they fixed it in 2 seconds it's like it never happened. My mother loved Every second starting with his introduction and description of each course! The food was great. Our friends and I really wanted a nice catered meal and Chef Walker and his team over delivered. From start to finish the communication was fantastic. He took what we wanted and provided some really tasty options. the decoration was absolutely amazing and really set the tone for the expectations of the night. The food and drinks looked and tasted amazing. Chef Walker and his team put extra emphasis on the plating and presentation to match the quality of the food. The services provided by Chef Kelvin and his team was nothing short of excellent. The quality and precision his team provided was impeccable. They arrived early for a walkthrough, told us what he needed us to do before his team arrived and when they did, they exceeded our expectations. I won't go into too much detail because you have to book to see for yourself. We had a very large group and it was the first time I had ever planned something like this but Chef helped me navigate the waters seamlessly. Everyone loved the experience and the food. Everything was AMAZING! I reserved a buffet style dinner to be delivered for my husband's birthday gathering. Menu included crab cakes for appetizer, steak & salmon, asparagus, and roasted potatoes with garlic bread for entree, and TO DIE FOR caramel cheesecake for dessert! Chef Kelvin and his staff was beyond great. I found his page on IG and was impressed with the food. I'm glad I contacted him. He was professional and extremely helpful in picking out the menu, giving suggestions that made sense. His team was very nice and attentive too. The food was fresh and very tasteful. He catered our family gathering in Orlando and the jerk lambchops and crabcakes were the bomb. I highly recommend him. I am from Michigan and found Chef Kelvin online as we wanted a private chef to come and prepare our dinner. I decided to book him for my friend's 50th birthday, group of 7 and the entire experience was amazing! Chef and team (son) decorated and set the table. There was even a server who served each course and kept our glasses filled with delicious blackberry lemonade! The food was fresh, hot and amazing!! I found Chef Kelvin on TT and I'm so glad I did. My friends and I traveled to Kissimmee/Orlando to celebrate my birthday. There was only 4 of us but we will have brunch for a few days with this spread! From the communications before up until the time he left was the top tier of professionalism. All the food was delicious, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. Everyone's favorite was the shrimp and grits. Even the eggs were amazing, light, fluffy, and cheesy.
