And best of all he shopped around finding the bamboo cabinets that my wife really wanted at a price better than the box stores. Here is the kicker he answers the phone or email quickly, have you ever tried calling Home Depot or Lowe's in Kona I have and a few times drove down there while still on hold to tell them to answer my darn call. Luckily, The Vanillerie is located only about 5 minutes away from Kona International Airport. Our tour guide was Candee, and she was very friendly and knowledgeable about the history behind vanilla and what it is and isn't. I absolutely learned a lot of things about vanilla that I hadn't known before. Now the farm itself is relatively small, but there are 4 greenhouse-like structures where the vanilla beans and plants grow. There is not much walking or hiking that you have to do, but be mindful of the uneven surfaces. And at the end of the tour, we all got real vanilla ice cream, which I absolutely loved! Silly me, who owns like, a hundred black purses bought another black purse though they had a huge selection of colors. When I flew back home, I had total buyer's remorse and wish I had gotten the coral colored purse instead. I ended up calling Lamont's and apologizing for such a weird request by asking if I could mail the black purse back and they could mail the other color that I preferred. Rodlynn, the shop's Supervisor said that it wasn't a problem. I mailed the purse back the next day and got the other one within a couple of days. Needles to say, Lamonts offers great, personalized customer service. I hope I have the pleasure of staying at the Fairmont Orchid again and shopping at Lamonts.

We gave her the high level inspiration of what we were looking for and let her create and she beyond delivered. My flowers are one of the most complimented things of our wedding thanks to her. She did our amazing arch flowers, all bridal bouquets, a flower crown for the flower girl and one for me for the rehearsal dinner as well as our sweetheart table, bar arrangements and all of the flower runners for our reception tables. I hired Brittany to do my arch arrangement, bridal bouquet, lei po'o, and grooms ti leaf lei. I sent her about a dozen random pictures of flowers I liked and she understood what I was looking for right away. The arrangements she created were unbelievably beautiful, exactly what I wanted and didn't know how to ask for. Everything had so much movement and grace, and photographed like a dream!!! On top of that, she was super easy to communicate with over email, very responsive, unlike many other vendors I interacted with. Her prices are totally fair, especially considering the quality of her work. 10/10 would recommend for any important event you might have!!
