The receptionist was very calming and answered all of my questions before we decided to make the drive there. Once we arrived, we were done with X rays and in the back with the staff and the actual dentist doing the exam within 10 mins. The dentist reassured us both of the situation and offered to fix everything on the spot. His name was Gio I think. Within about 60 mins of him getting started on the treatment plan he was done and the problem was solved that just needed some time to let things calm down. The exam was $85 upfront and our treatment plan was an additional $500. There was no financial surprises or hidden fees. Everyone was very nice, professional, and knowledgable. Not to mention it was like 7pm on a weekday when they took us. CONs: None!

Several years ago, Dr. Tucker retired and sold the practice to another dentist. It seems like the practice changed hands a few times, as I felt like I saw a different dentist every visit for a while. While I was in college, I got some new retainers made by Dr. Tucker to help with grinding teeth at night, etc. The invisalign machine came with 4 sets of these retainers. I took two of the sets home with me, and the staff assured me that they would keep the other two sets safe for when I needed them down the road. As I was in college at the time, moving around a lot, I agreed that that sounded like the safer option. After Dr. Tucker's departure, I inquired about by retainers, and the new staff informed me that anything they had kept for anybody was gone, and nobody knows where it went. No clue who - if anybody - is at fault here, but it's upsetting to me that something of mine, that was not cheap, was lost. In addition to the retainers, I found myself getting contrary advice about the types of fillings that Dr. Tucker did. I got some silver fillings, which Dr. Tucker assured me were the better option as they would last longer, about 20 years. Now, maybe 4 years later, I'm hearing that I need to redo these fillings. The people here are great! Appointments run very smoothly, everything is very comfortable. Due to this string of events, I have decided to seek dental work elsewhere, and get a fresh perspective on the silver fillings.

However, my husband also has transitioned to this office, along with one of our adult children. Besides my dentist, there has been a lot of transition in the office, with all but one of his previous staff leaving by this year. I also noticed that the other dentists in the office have changed several times, with only my dentist being the same one still there within 18 months. I have not had the same hygienist clean my teeth in the three times I've been there. This is a bit of a change from any dental practice I've ever experienced, ever throughout the course of several decades in a couple states. I guess the dental industry is changing a bit, and if you are going to a chain dentist, you aren't going to have the same person cleaning your teeth every 6 months for years. I will probably miss walking and recognizing people, or having them ask about the kids and family, but as long as I get a good cleaning every 6 months, that should be sufficient. When I went back to Inverness to get my crown, they told me that I was now an uninsured patient. They bumped up the cost to get the crown by 45%. In addition, I have been noticing at Inverness of a reduction in quality of care and the response on this crown cost was unacceptable. I canceled all my appointments with Inverness and sought the care of another dentist who is using insured rates to charge me for my crown.
