We were getting the house ready to sell. The place was vacant for a year. The heating system was winterized and not used at all. We then decided to rent it out. The first week the tenant used the heat, something went wrong with the furnace. When we called Jim Moser, he told us they were too busy to come out. We were forced to get another oil company to come out. That technician said there were tests not performed by the Ervin Moser installer (there should have been tags on the furnace) and the oil-air combustion was not properly done by the Ervin Moser technician. There was a potential risk to both the tenant and the house because the oil wasn't burning properly and spitting out of the furnace. We asked for reimbursement from Jim because we had to hire someone else to finish the job his technician didn't. He refused. If you're near West Chester, I recommend Sheller Oil or Horizon. They return phone calls and are there when you need them.
