I'm updating my review due to unfortunate circumstances. I gave this business a shot and the inital sale was fine with some minor communications issues. However, the glass was sliding down from the hardware in the shower, and its part of the purchase included in the warranty for it to be fixed. So I reached out to Erick and he promised to pick it up and a few days passed and he would no show. Then finally on July 30 he picked it up and as of today it is 2 weeks, he still has the glass. I have called, and texted hundreds of times with HORRIBLE communication. He gives me crap responses "I'll call you in 20 min" and never calls. or "No one wants to fix the glass" then another day, "I'll be there after 1pm" So at this point I dont even know if the glass is fixed, or what is happening. I am not even sure what to do at this point. I call and literally blow up his phone and he NEVER EVER answers the damn phone. We have a 10' single-pane sliding glass door.  While mowing a stone hit the door and shattered the stationary panel.  The door is quite old and odd-sized.  Chelsea Glass answered the Yelp inquiry along with a few other glass companies.  After emailing a few details and a picture Chelsea Glass got right back to us with the best time-frame and price.  The tech, Erick came out the next day, took a few measurements, and looked over the job.  The following day he had the glass and was ready to install. He had a bit of trouble remounting the frame due to structural settling but with his experience and know-how got the door back into service without issue or added expense. Erick was responsive and completed the job in a timely manner. He was very professional and the cost was reasonable.

Erick said he'd come, "4:30/5:30" and showed up closer to 6:00pm. I walked him around my house and he looked at the windows, measured them, but did not write anything down, which was already a red flag. There were 8 windows of varying dimensions! Then he said he'd come back on Sunday at 10am to install. Originally, he told me the work was done, "on site," so I was already displeased that he'd have to come back. Come Sunday, he is a no-show. I wait until 11am and call him. He seemed confused about our appointment and said that he was too busy working on another job that he lost track of time. I asked if he'd still come today and he said yes and that he'd, "call me right back." I waited until 12pm and called him again and he did not answer. I waited the rest of Sunday and called several more times; he never answered. At this point, it was clear that he was not coming or calling me back. He never reached out and I never heard from him again. Fast forward 3 days later on Wednesday, he SHOWS UP UNANNOUNCED at my front door. I don't answer. We call him and he straight-up LIES and says that we spoke and that I agreed for him to "come on Thursday." We did no such thing. Also, it was Wednesday. Even if I had agreed to Thursday, then why is he showing up on a Wednesday? We told him we'd cancel after he no-showed on Sunday, to which he tried to explain that he had truck problems. Even if that were true, a professional would have called to reschedule. I am always so hesitant to write a negative Yelp review on a small business, but this is one business I wish I'd stayed far, far away from. I wish I had listened to the other Yelp reviews that commented on him being a no-show and being flaky and unresponsive. He really does ignore your call when he doesn't want to deal with you! Erick did three shower doors for my new place. I really want to like the guy but communicating with him is such a difficult task. He promised to show up and cancel at the last minute or even don't tell about it many times. Worse yet, two of the shower doors are leaking (last one we are not using,; so, can't tell). After canceling the 4th rescheduled appointment he finally said he could not finish the job and would "return our deposit via Venmo." Between me and my husband, we sent him no less than 15-20 reminders and requests to return our deposit and each one has gone completely ignored. At a time when we are expecting to add 2 babies to our family, we did not need this person to steal $100 from our pockets! I've never had a worse home repair experience.
