20ish years ago, Hometime replaced all the warped windows in our 1952 ranch style home. Some were modern standard sizes, but most were custom sizes. These windows are still perfect in every way. These woods come with value and reliability. When we added on to our home about 10 years ago, the contractor used their window company. We ordered some custom sized windows to keep consistency with the rest of our home...and those have never been right. A couple years ago the large, back window split in the frame. We had no question that Hometime would replace the window...and it's both well constructed & beautiful, with two perfectly working locks. The install was done by Eduardo and his crew. It was an early morning appointment, but Eduardo showed up in time. Both he and the other installer were friendly, efficient, and clean. They took less than 2 hours, door knock to exit, and left not a scrap or bit of dust in their perfect install. When we consider cost, style, AND locally, independently owned companies, we will have Hometime do all our windows, always. In the future we will also request Eduardo as our installer. Israel and AJ installed our kitchen sliding glass door today, and the entire experience was excellent from start to finish. They arrived on time as scheduled and performed the installation with exceptional professionalism and attention to detail. They carefully removed the old door, cleaned and prepared the area thoroughly, installed the new door frame and molding, completed all interior and exterior caulking, and even touched up the staple gun areas for a clean finished appearance. They also cleaned the glass and surrounding work area afterward and reinstalled the sliding blinds back to their original condition. My mom has been closely working with Chanel at Hometime windows to rescreen our window screens. Today, we dropped our screens off. When we dropped them off, we were helped by an employee named Austin. Upon inspecting our windows screens, he shared that rescreeening them would not be possible due to rust. He was quick to share he would measure the screens to ensure the new ones are the exact same size. In addition, he demonstrated the new style of window screen. I have had two experiences with them and Austin is very knowledgeable and has a no frills approach to the measurements and estimates. I recently had a sliding glass door installed by Hometime Windows, and the final product is beautiful. The new door looks great and feels solid, and the installers who came on the second attempt were professional and did an excellent job. However, the process was far from smooth. The initial consultation on August 12th included a measurement error by their representative, Kaleb Gaynor. This mistake was not caught until the installers arrived as scheduled on September 15th, making it impossible for them to complete the work. This not only wasted my time on a Monday but also caused a significant delay in the project. What was most frustrating was the company's handling of the situation. There was no apology for the mistake, which I feel is a basic expectation when a company's error causes a customer inconvenience. I had to call them to reschedule the installation for September 27th. Given that Hometime manufactures its own products, you would think a mistake like this would be a top priority to fix, but that was not my experience. While I am happy with the final product, the overall process and lack of accountability for their error were disappointing. read more

I needed new windows and, after comparing the "potato chip guy," a company in El Monte, and Hometime, I chose Hometime--and I am overjoyed with both the results and how smoothly the two-day installation went. Frank, Joe, and Leo arrived promptly at 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday. Frank explained the process for removing the old casement windows and installing the new ones, and he asked if there were any rooms I wanted completed first. I greatly appreciated this consideration. I have two dogs they needed to work around, and Frank accommodated us by starting with the room and restroom that I wanted done first. Frank handled the removal of the old casement windows and ensured the new ones fit properly. Joe and Leo took care of the caulking and foam injection. All 13 windows were removed and replaced in a single day. While detail work still needed to be completed on 11 of them, I was grateful that all removals were finished on the first day. Before leaving, the team vacuumed and swept both inside and around the house. When they returned the next day, Frank and Joe completed the remaining detail work. They saved the sliding glass door replacement for last--and you could truly say they saved the best for last. I installed the old sliding glass door 40 years ago, but after watching the installation of the new one, I realized how much more thorough their process was. The careful use of caulking to ensure an airtight seal along the bottom, sides, and top made that clear. Sometimes, after watching professionals work--or after seeing YouTube videos--you think you could probably do the job yourself. Maybe you could. But I know I could not have done it as quickly, cleanly, or efficiently as Frank, Joe, and Leo did. Thank you, gentlemen, for a job well done. I had such a positive experience getting a new front door, from the first initial phone call all the way until the amazing installer Danny A. completed the job. Within days of my first call, they sent out someone to measure our door and provide a quote. Other companies said they would only send out a rep if I decided to hire them, but that felt counterintuitive for such a large purchase.
