Hired them to clean a Berber carpet in basement and upstairs carpeting. They warned me that maybe 50 percent of the stains wouldn't come up. And that was accurate, my problem is afterward I got my Bissell steam cleaner out and got way more out. I was surprised at the amount of dirt remaining in the carpet after it had been cleaned. They did a goodish job on my living room carpet. I still touched up some small areas. I don't recommend them for Berber carpet. I feel like I just should have done my carpets myself. It is not a good feeling to pay to cleaning and then clean it yourself again. They were honest and did warn me. I just don't understand why I can get better results with non professional equipment and products. read more

I had 3 rooms plus hallway and stairs cleaned. There were a few dark stains from spilled drinks in each room. They all came out nicely. I think the price was reasonable, and the best part was it dried rather quickly. In addition, both Danielle (in the office) and Daryl (the technician) were professional and courteous. I used this company about 6 months ago, after having had very good service from a different Chem-Dry for years, that unfortunately was no longer servicing our area. I was dismayed when the price that was quoted to me for similar services, cleaning with stain removal and P.U.R.T. for two rooms and a hallway, was double what had been paid to the previous Chem Dry for the same services ($1300.00 vs. $600.00 by the previous company.) when I contacted the owner, he agreed to do the job for over $700.00 after I told him I did not want the service. He talked privately by phone to the technician. The technician spent approximately one hour at our house, and did a poor job. Stains were not improved, and the dog odor persisted. I recently used a different Chem Dry who did a great job removing the stains and odor for half of what Chem-Dry Express charged. The good experience with a different company prompted me to write this review, since I feel there are better choices in our area. I visited my elderly parents and found an invoice from Chem Dry showing an almost $450.00 charge for cleaning their one couch! On top of that, the couch looked just as dingy as before it was "cleaned." My mother asked me if Imknew of anyplace and I gave them the number for Chem Dry, which I turned up after a quick internet search. I told my mother that I paid about $250.00 to have my couch, chair, and ottoman cleaned, Although that was another company. Now I feel terrible because they are in their 80s and on a fixed income! After speaking to the manager, I was told they would not refund any of the money, but would send someone out to clean the couch again. I don't expect the couch will look any better when they're done, but even if it does, that is an outrageous price to pay to clean a single piece of furniture. read more

Its unfortunate its come to posting a negative review, but our most recent cleaning by this group was and still is an ongoing issue. We had a small pet visit us over a weekend and of course for whatever reason it decides to pee on our chaise lounge chair. The dog is a shitzu puppy, so maybe 1/2 a cup of urine right on the middle of the main cushion. We decided to just call the professionals and not hassle with it. We've used these guys for several things in the past and were easy and good to work with so we called them again to schedule an appt. Tech came out during the week and I told him what happened and he said it would be no problem. Then he said it was going to cost $275 dollars...I felt that was fairly high for a standard pet issue but since we've used them before I knew they could do it so agreed. He ended up cleaning the entire piece of furniture, not just the pet stain, which was odd but whatever. Said to let it dry and then it will be good. The next day we woke up to a completely different color chair. The fabric was stiff and felt like tree bark. There was tool and liquid marks all through the chair. I called them back and they dispatched same tech out to look at it. He tried his best to get it to at least a little presentable, but the next day it was still pretty bad. So I had to wait for the owner to Update 6/13/18 After contacting Chem-Dry National and writing this review, they have decided to give us original price of the chair. read more

This is the second time using Chem-Dry and they do the best job of the other companies I've tried. We have 3 dogs who are good in the house but can still track in dirt and such from when they go outside. Daryl, the tech we had, did a great job. Another reason I prefer Chem-Dry is because the carpet dries in 2-3 hours vs. the others that take much longer to dry. The only reason I give 4 stars vs 5 is because they are the most expensive of the carpet cleaning co.'s I've used. But you get what you pay for. read more

Extremely professional and quality work. I made an appt over the phone to have my couch cleaned. I was given a rough estimate of the cost and 4 hour window that my technician would arrive within. Daryl arrived on time (actually he was even a little early!) and was very courteous and professional. He assessed my couch and quoted me exactly what I was told over the phone. After he was finished cleaning we looked over the couch together to make sure I was satisfied. He did a great job! They were out twice to clean the rug and remove cat urine smell from hallway rug. This was not cheap and to this day the rug still has the smell & will have to be replaced. Also the rugs were sopping wet each time & the wetness stained my white baseboards. read more

I am waiting to hear from Chem Dry Express. They took an are rug for cleaning on 9/19/16 and said they would deliver it clean in a few weeks but I haven't heard from them. I tried emailing but the address on the invoice is invalid. I will call their office tomorrow - but I'm getting worried - hopefully they will deliver my clean carpet on Saturday:-) read more

Was totally pissed that we were overcharged. I called the company and Meagan patiently walked through the invoice, noticed some add-ons that my wife agreed to but also noticed some discrepancy. She immediately calculated the overages and volunteered to refund the difference. She diffused a bad situation and made me recognize that this is a company that does business fairly. Its not a cheap service but we have used them in the past because it works, things are always much cleaner when they leave and more importantly, every thing dries quickly (no waiting over night to walk on the carpet or sit on your couch) Make sure you know how much the add-ons cost (deodorizers and sanitizers are $50 add-ons) but don't be afraid to use these guys, they are fair. read more
