Did not clean carpeted stairs, which needed it even more after their soapy, wet shoes and hose left residue. I don't know if they are capable of being more careful and thorough if more advance scheduling is done. Still, they were very good to fit me in for emergency situation -- though rushed as they had other bookings. The carpet area dried well with my own blower on it for 24 hours.
