    The night of the flood.

Ian graciously offered to reimburse me for a couple items that apparently were swept up in the remediation. The ground floor of the townhouse that incurred the backup is small (400sf) so there was not much space to move the contents out of the way. Ian also explained the insurance limitations for a level 3 backup when the homeowner insurance as written neglects to reference the HOA master policy. Overall EC Restoration works better with homeowners than the big national water remediators, which is why our adjuster uses this business. We are lucky to have them for this (hopefully) once in a lifetime event.

The generous amount of time Ian afforded me, even though they don't provide the mold testing- only the restoration and repair.

Ticket #25027244 I…read morewanted to give Roto-Rooter a try because they are a nationally recognized company, and I wanted the problem diagnosed and fixed correctly the first time. On May 8, I called Roto-Rooter to investigate an overflow issue coming from my garage drain. When the technician arrived, he looked at the drain for no more than 15 seconds and immediately told me that I needed a curb trap replacement. He estimated the cost at $10,000 to $15,000. I asked whether there were any other possible causes or diagnostic steps that could be taken given that he had barely looked at the issue. He told me there were not. I was uncomfortable with the diagnosis because it seemed to be based on almost no investigation, so I decided to get a second opinion from a local company, Greater Works Plumbing. The difference was night and day. Greater Works Plumbing took the time to properly diagnose the issue. They located a hidden cleanout pipe behind a wall, performed a camera inspection, and determined that the problem was a blockage that required hydro jet cleaning--not a curb trap replacement. After approximately 5 to 10 minutes of hydro jetting, the blockage was cleared and the drainage system was restored. They also showed me the condition of the pipes on camera and explained exactly what they were seeing. As a homeowner, it is frustrating to be told that a $10,000 to $15,000 repair is needed without a meaningful inspection. Based on my Ring camera footage, the Roto-Rooter technician was on my property for less than five minutes before reaching that conclusion. My advice to other homeowners is to get a second opinion before agreeing to any major plumbing work. While Roto-Rooter does not charge a fee to come out, my experience suggests that paying for a thorough diagnostic evaluation from a reputable local plumber can save you thousands of dollars. I would not recommend Roto-Rooter based on my experience.

I wish I would have read this reviews before calling Roto Rooter. I had leak in my dining area from…read morethe first floor shower and they cut walls and ceilings of my master bedroom, dinning area and garage to find the leak but they were not able to and now I got big bill to pay which they said Roto rooter is not going to charge you anything we will claim your insurance for damage and now insurance is denied so I am responsible. I am sure now the insurance companies in Philadelphia area are aware that this is a scam they charge unnecessary and there plumbers are not even able to fix or find the water leak. 0 star.

I at the time had a sick mother a few feet away on hospice breathing in all the dust and debris they just let fly all over my home. They didn't test for lead. They didn't properly remove all the wet ceiling and treat for mold they did a poor job of covering all of my kitchen appliances.counter and flooring. They were arguing on the jobsite. They did an extremely poor job of cleaning and disposing of the area and debris. I had to double back to insure everything was cleaned and sanitized of properly to insure no more possible contamination was left behind in my home to help prevent anyone from getting sick including my already sick mother. The men were high on the job my children brought to my attention they were smoking pot right outside of my Home. WHICH ALL DURING AND AFTER I CONTACTED THE OWNER TO MAKE HIM AWARE OF ALL OF THESE PROBLEMS!! NOTHING WAS DONE!!! Then they attempted I guess what they would call covering of my ceiling of the exposed and poorly pulled down drywall with plastic, they put half of my ally way filled with big black contractor bags full of debris and proceeded to tell Me to leave it there until the insurance company came to see the job so they could get paid for the removal of the trash. Well guess what they never came back to dispose of the trash I had to do so myself. I've attempted to reach out to them and they blocked me so I want to make others out the AWARE DONT USE THIS COMPANY THEY ARE VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND DONT FOLLOW PROPER SAFETY PRECAUTIONS FOR THEMSELVES AND OR THE PEOPLE WHOS PROPERTY THEY ARE IN.
