I initially had my carpet treated for pet urine and general cleaning. I had family coming to stay with me for a couple of weeks and wanted the guest room to be fresh and clean. This Chem-Dry location was fully booked but the office staff did everything they could to get my carpets done before my family arrived. Initial carpet cleaning and treatment was a huge improvement and I was pleased with the service. I was not aware that the furniture moving was not part of the service so when I posted the concern, the office staff called me and scheduled a subsequent cleaning and I made arrangements for furniture to be moved so the carpet in its entirety would be clean. Most companies would not make a subsequent visit. I am pleased with not only the urine treatment, and carpet cleaning but also this high level of customer service. I had also requested to have an area rug cleaned, but what I truly appreciate in a company is honesty, and Chem-Dry did not disappoint. Instead of charging me to clean a rug, Mike told me once he saw it that he would not recommend cleaning it, because he has not had a good experience with the material it is made of. I have used Chem-Dry of Louisville for several years, and they do an excellent job. My beige carpet has a waffle pattern and had developed gray staining from foot traffic on the stairs. Two previous carpet cleaning companies were unable to remove the stains. He is extremely nice, efficient, and knowledgeable -- a professional in every way. We just moved back to Louisville from Texas and were looking for a good Chem-Dry dealer because of the "green" nature of its products - no harsh chemicals!! NO soap and water soaking the rug either. My senior dog decided to turn my home office into her personal toilet, so I went in search of a carpet cleaner. I figured the positive reviews of Chem-Dry couldn't be wrong so I booked. Mike arrived on time and with a smile. He went over the two rooms I needed cleaned with his UV light and ugh, it was worse than I thought. Thankfully Mike told me about their PURT service and I was immediately sold. He wasn't wrong either, it completely eliminated the urine odor while cleaning and refreshing my carpet. I have used Chem- Dry for several years now. Always professional and friendly and do a fantastic job. My neighbors thought a few years back that I my carpets were new even though had them for 5 years at least at that time Carpets were just cleaned and still look fantastic even after my grandkids, and a dog leaving spots .
