I've had multiple pieces done here, and the quality is just not good. One of my zippers is completely misaligned at the waist. There is a noticeable 1.5in difference on the left vs right sides where the bodice meets the skirt. The hem of my dress was crooked. My partner's suit pants came unhemmed mid event on part of his leg. I really do not recommend. read more

DO NOT COME HERE!!!!! Would not recommend. I brought a dress in to be taken in on the sides and expressed to her what I wanted, and she told me it was 100% doable. In my short time in the shop two customers were complaining about their items. When I went to pick the dress up I tried it on and it wasn't what I wanted. The dress has two layers and she only altered one. I expressed that I want happy and she refused to do anymore work to the dress. She told me to "go home and ask my mom". She charged me $50 to ruin my dress. I went to get a second opinion on the dress and they said she had done a terrible job and apologized on her behalf. She totally ruined two new pairs of pants that I took in to hem. She charged far more than is customary. The pants are beyond repair.

DO NOT go here! My daughter took several pairs of pants to be altered there and some of them are terrible. The seams do not line up and the stitching on one is uneven so now they do not lay flat. She tried to get a refund for the pairs that were not sewn properly only to have the owner yell at her and tell her to not come back. The establishment only accepts cash so there is not a way to dispute the charges on a credit card. The bill was $90. Completely botched a simple hem job on my two pairs of (expensive) Brooks Brothers wool suit pants. Had to take somewhere else to get fixed; she didn't even try to make it right. I took in a suit to get fitted for a wedding I'm going to and they said they couldn't do the shoulders and when they took in the seams on the back and the sides the pattern didn't even line up. When I get it back there was also a hole in the pants. They charged me $50 for this. I went back in to get a refund since I had to take it to another tailor to get fixed but they refused to give me even a partial refund. I would not recommend this place for anything. I took two pairs of jeans to be hemmed and the were ready the next day. Pleasant person, nice work.

I called ahead bc my zipper never quite worked right on my winter coat. I specifically asked if I could wait while it was repaired and told yes. I should have returned the coat but didn't and the zipper eventually broke for good. When I got there, she said it would cost $28 to put a new zipper in and I had to come back tomorrow as it would take two hrs. I explained this was my only coat and I had called bc I didn't have another one to wear in the meantime. She told me to hold on and took my coat (one of those puffer coats) to the back. She brought it back two mins later and the zipper was fixed. It had gotten bent she explained and she also put lube on it. She charged me $15. Now if she had charged me $10, I would be very happy but since she told me two hours and a new zipper would cost $28, and it took her literally two or three mins., I felt she overcharged me.
