It was most impressive that after playing a few notes on my baby grand, he knew right away that it was tuned in Well Temperament and asked if I wanted to keep the tuning system. I had a hammer repaired and tuning from Well-Tempered to Equal Temperament. My other baby grand received a standard tuning and Cobrun adjusted the action on the lower octaves so that they all play without sticking and resistance. It was also especially comforting to see that they have their safety precautions for dealing with COVID in place: masks, social distancing, not touching door handles, etc. I appreciate that these folks did a lot to address concerns with the health of my pianos especially during this especially hard time.

Tom tuned and voiced my Yamaha baby grand, which has not been tuned in several years…read more The piano is sounding much better. Tom noticed the una corda petal was malfunctioning and fixed. For the voicing I asked for a brighter than average sound and the outcome is great. Tom rebuilds pianos on the side, has a prestigious music degree, and has performed.
