I had previously left a very positive review. That was until I discovered they damaged nearly 3k worth of my furniture, and didn't tell me. I used them to move a 2 br apartment. They came with a 1br truck. Very nice guys, yet my furniture that was damaged was nice also. I had everything organized for them. Boxes, shrink wrap on items, etc.. They kept emphasizing that if my TV's were damaged in the move, they would replace them.. What about my headboard for my bed? My couch? My chairs and other things. This is what I get for trying to look out for someone. I paid those guys $750. They left behind thousands in damage. There is a saying. In life you get what you pay for. If you guys need your move to be professional and to avoid broken and scratch up furniture, yet your TV's would b saved. Pay the extra $100 or $200 for a real professional mover that is insured and bonded. Therefore you can open a claim for damaged products. I certainly learned my lesson. I scheduled them at certain time and they were there without delays. Great attitude since they arrived. Safe loading/unloading. Furniture had to be unloaded to house's 2nd floor without any damage to furniture and/or house walls. They also had to assemble one of the furniture upon arrival at home, which they did very quickly. At 120/hr, this looked like a nice cheap option. But it took them 6 hours to move my 1B 1B apartment. So I guess all my savings were adjusted. Pros: 1) It was easy to setup date and time with them 2) Movers who came were very polite and were responsive to all my needs. Cons: It seemed movers lacked experience with assembling the furniture which took them more time. Also I felt like they lacked the strategy to finish the move faster. Also I had booked the elevator and put some pads for the move. In between the move it got stuck on another floor and instead of notifying me about it they continued the move using another unprotected elevator. read more

We moved 30 miles to our new house. The team showed up a little late, due to the traffic, but let me know they were going to be late. I appreciated that very much. They are friendly, respectful of our belongings, and went above and beyond to help us. I couldn't believe how quiet they were when moving our belongs. It involved in some very big pieces in the upper floor - I don't remember how we got them up there! The had to disassemble our very large king bed and put it back together. It took two trips, which was disappointing, but they made good time coming back. As for the costs, they came in far lower than what we were quoted through another moving company. We scheduled a date and time for my move and didn't talk again until the day of the move, when they called me to remind me of my appointment time and to let me know they would be on their way soon. They ended up being a few minutes early and started moving right on time. For the actual move, I was very concerned about a few pieces of furniture that are dear to me. As soon as they arrived, it was the first thing I discussed with them. They were genuinely understanding and took great care when wrapping the pieces in moving blankets. Since I had everything pretty much ready to go, packing the truck was fast for them and only took about 1.5 hours. Then we all headed out to our first stop, my storage unit, where they were able to quickly and carefully unload my storage items and properly store for me, taking into account that I would need to access certain items regularly and putting those things in the front. When we got to the second and final stop, my new home, they moved the large old couch from the living room into the garage without damaging anything before bringing everything inside. A lot of my things needed to go up to the third floor of the house, which is over 100 years old and has narrow halls and low ceilings up there. I was very impressed with their ability to get everything (even the super heavy and bulky items) carefully put away in their designated spots without hurting themselves! Both of them looked over 6ft tall and they seemed to manage with minimal discomfort. I have been in the middle of moving my father from one retirement facility to another. He needed some stuff moved and other things taken to a dump. I initially called a bunch of places and most of the places would not return my phone call or they did not service the area we needed to move to. I tried my luck at Yelp and sent a message to H&M. They had a good attitude and were joking with one another and enjoying their work. At the end of the day, one picture frame had broken during the process. Before paying they asked me how much to replace the glass and took that amount off my bill. I appreciated that they addressed it and let me decide how much it would cost to replace. You can tell they have a great time working together, but they were never distracting each other. If anything, they increased the morale! Disclaimer, H&M moving did not move me. I tried to hire them but they didn't follow through! I reached out a month before my move to schedule with them, via the Yelp messenger we confirmed my move date. A week before my move I reached back out to make everything was still a go and again was confirmed. The day of my move they were supposed to call an hour before their scheduled arrival, nothing. I call them with no answer. They ended up calling 30 minutes after they were supposed to show up and said 'sorry but they were closed for the day' ?!?!? I don't know what happened on their end but they totally messed up my moving day. Very unprofessional, very sketchy. Maybe this was a unique one time thing for their business but BE WARY!! read more
