The thing I appreciate most is that they start appointments on-time & seem to do a thorough job. A vision technician does the preliminary things & then the optomotrist finishes & writes a prescription for glasses. With my insurance, there's no out-of-pocket cost for this exam, but I'm sure that wouldn't be the case for everyone. They also sell/make glasses, which seem pricey, but I feel to be of high quality.

Over the years he's referred me for additional testing, as needed and he's fully gained my trust and respect for his professionalism and skills. He's very personable and easy to carry on a conversation and laugh with - great attributes in a doctor who spends a good part of the exam less than 10 inches from your face! When I need glasses, he has gotten my prescription perfect every time. The adjustment period to the new lenses has literally been just a few minutes. I've always found frames I loved at his office easily, too. The office staff are always pleasant and personable and Beth can do a quick fix on some maladjusted frames in a matter of seconds anytime I stop in for a tweak. The office is great about processing all the eye insurance claims and the patient never has to get involved. I called my insurance company and confirmed the doctor and facility were in network and got a referral. I was called from the office that my appointment needed to be canceled and rescheduled and the next available was 2 months out. I alreadyed waited 4 months but ok. Showed to the appointment and was turned away because they wouldn't accept my insurance. I asked why when this was verified at scheduling? The receptionist could only say i was told no. I asked why they didnt call me before hand? Why didnt you verify my insurance before I showed up and wasted my time? She said i dont know, i dont do that. I asked to call her billing department and she said theres no department, just people who work from home. I asked if they had a phone number and she did give. No one would tell me why they wouldnt take my insurance and waiting 6 months for this appointment to be told then. Absolutely ridiculous. The receptionist had little to no knowledge and could only offer me a sticker for my trouble. Then 3 days later i received and automated text stating it was time to schedule my next appointment. This place is a joke. I cant speak for the doctors but the office staff are costing you time and money.

I did have a rather lengthy wait today though, my appointment time was 3 PM and I did not see the doctor until four and I didn't get out of there until almost 430. However, I feel that the staff at this practice is much more professional and thorough than the other two eye care providers that I've seen between 2020-23 in Cranberry Township. This is where they do surgeries and have ophthalmology appointments. It gets confusing because the same doctors are also often at their Good Looks Eyewear location for regular optometric appointments.

I have visited this mall at least a few times. Every couple of years, I renew my CPR/AED training at the tenant Start the Heart. I notice that many of the storefronts, particularly those in the back, are vacant and have no tenants, but the buildings look to be in good condition. The parking lot appears to be appropriately sized for the types of businesses and their numbers of customers, and I have always found a parking space during my visits. This mall is located on Perry Highway, so it has easy access and many potential customers passing by.

From the moment I walked in and said hello, she was grumpy and unfriendly. I arrived early for my 10:00 a.m. appointment. Even though I had been to this office last year, she asked me to fill out the forms again, which I did. I also called my insurance company and provided the information she requested. After that, before they even looked up the insurance information I had provided, another staff member told me I had to reschedule my appointment. Since it was only around 10:15 a.m., I asked why I needed to reschedule when my appointment had been at 10:00 a.m. I was filling out the forms and calling my insurance company. I explained that I had recently had a baby, had made the effort to come to the appointment, and had done my best to provide the information they needed. As I was leaving, I thanked them for their help, wished them a nice day, and said that I did not want to receive a bill for a visit where I was not seen. Instead of calmly addressing my concern, the front desk staff called out across the front desk toward the door to defend herself. The entire experience felt unprofessional and disappointing.

When I calmly tried to defend my position, she raised her voice at me and yelled "Im not arguing with you." I am an adult patient and I have the right to engage in my care. She seems to think otherwise. Any doctor who tries to steamroll you about your health isn't a good doctor. She seems miserable. She needs to retire.
