I was dealing with a lot and having a hard time solidifying paperwork with Heidi in a timely manner. So I definitely understand why she would be frustrated. What is ridiculous to me is how a supposed therapist would be so rude and unprofessional. What kind of professional makes assumptions and judgmental statements especially in a profession dealing with people struggling with anxiety and depression. Heidi said to me "Seriously dude - no reply to texts and emails from August 10th to now/ August 29, and you weren't in jail or an ICU and I'm the problem?" (see photos of email).

Her reply included an "OMG" in it because she was frustrated I didn't assume what her typos meant. I would've considered still working with her even after paying the $100 no-show fee, but after her blow-up reply, absolutely not and I wouldn't recommend anyone else work with her. I don't know how anyone could rate Dr Konzelman anything lower than 5 stars. I have been a patient…read moreof his for over a year and he has continually helped me work through my depression and PTSD. The "test" that others have described was actually a blessing. It cuts through the long hours that would need to be spent trying to understand your true personality and upbringing. After taking the test (that takes a couple hours, yes) my results were printed out and we were able to dive right into what the real issues are and a treatment plan. I LOVE that test. I never want to waste anymore time just venting to counselors. I needed life coaching a guidance to start the healing process. With Dr. Konzelman incorporating my Christian Faith while never being judgmental, being a good listener and using that test to streamline his treatment, I can honestly say he is the best counselor I have ever had. Every week he gives advice and goals to work toward and everything he has advised me to do has worked or definitely helped me work through my issues. He is such a great person. His wife is so lovely and always works with me on scheduling challenges so I am always able to make my appointments while balancing family and a busy school schedule. He is an amazing counselor who is still helping me through my PTSD and depression. I would highly recommend him to anyone, especially to anyone with similar struggles as my own and would rate him more than 5 stars if it were possible.

My husband and I went to Konzelman for couples counseling. Dr. Konzelman had us take a test. I…read morewas expecting more like a personality test -- but was VERY detailed. It did cost extra (which we were not informed of up front), but revealed a lot to the Dr. When the results came back, we were explained the results. I tested high in fear and dependency - which made me mad. My husband tested angry and violent, needing control and more "negative" things. He said he was concerned because of the combination of results among other things - This made me very angry - and my husband and I did not go back after that. Fast forward a few years. My husband violently attacks me for the last time and I get the courage to leave. Truth is .... Dr. Konzelman hit the nail on the head... and my reaction was sadly so stereotypical of a co-dependent in an abusive relationship. And, Dr. Konzelman saw it. He was kind and he was gentle in his approach. But I was not ready to hear it - and my husband was not about to give up the control he had over me -- as a matter of fact, it only grew exponentially (As it always does). I look back now - and am so grateful for Doctors like Gregor Konzelman ... who saw the truth ... called it out, even though HE was attacked verbally by me. He knows his stuff.
