The food is subpar and expensive. Wifi is very slow. Don't expect peace and quiet because the lobby is constantly playing loud country music. If your room is close to the outdoor pool you will hear every person coming in and out of the building. The list goes on. Positives: Monkey Grind. It's basically a Starbucks. The girl who works there is sweet and deserves a raise.

Everyone was friendly and greeted us with big smiles, hello's and friendly service. I mean everyone from ground staff to wait staff everyone was ready to serve or just being helpful. The pool area is top notch and would compete with any resort. There is a kids water play ground too. Bar service evil it's ISR was prompt and properly frequent. Our room was great despite the aforementioned, bed was comfortable and all the little details in order. Our room had a walk out balcony which we really appreciated and used throughout our stay. There are several restaurants on the property but make a reservation at the Summit, spend a little too much cause it's worth it. Immaculate service, wonderful top flight foods, ridiculously good deserts! Pull your boat up to the courtesy slips and enjoy a meal or pick up supplies at the ship store. There are 27 holes of championship golfing with more to come, a full service gym, spa, sauna, and the typical ball rooms and meeting rooms. Really this would be five stars if not for all the noise and I can't fault the staff or service, perhaps the building contractor? Sadly then, they really deserve five stars, we are already planning a return visit and plans to rent a boat. PS we would have rented a boat but the weather was not great on this trip and really you come to a place like this for four things; boating, fishing, golf, and pampering afterwards.

Back when I golfed about every day this was my favorite course to play at. Everything is well…read moremaintained and great manicured greens it's one of the top golf courses around. Each hole has trees on each side so lots of hazards to deal with. WhatI like is they got a couple of marshals who drive around to make sure play is not stacking up which is nice your not always waiting to play. You must wear a collared shirt that's a rule they will not overlook. If not the clubhouse has plenty for you to buy. I should no my first time playing here I had to buy a shirt cost me another 75 bucks. So just saying wear a collared shirt. Plus this course you have to stay on the golf cart paths or you'll be asked to leave. Of course you can't forget about hole 19. That's we're all the beers and food is at. If your looking for a great golf course give this course a try it's very unforgiving if you can't keep your ball in the fairways. They also give golf lesson with a pga pro if you need help with your swing.
