I have been a client at this clinic for almost 20 years and it saddens me to be leaving this review and well as to be leaving this clinic. I was seen here recently for an annual physical as I have every year since starting there. I am, fortunately, I very healthy woman, and so my visits are usually only this one time a year. I also happen to be an ER nurse so feel confident in what health questions should be asked, what assessments should be done, and what tests should be ordered during an annual physical. When I called in to make my appointment, I was notified that my former PA, Darren Roth was no longer with the clinic. The turn over rate of this place has been INSANE over the past few years. It is a revolving door of PAs and MDs. It's disappointing because I have had some wonderful doctors and PAs there. So when I called in to make my appointment, it was disappointing to be choosing from someone new again. The doctor enters the room and introduces himself and starts asking me questions. So far, this is all normal outside of the fact that I'm not sitting on the exam table and I'm not in a gown. I chalk this up to maybe people have had complaints about this process, and so they now let patients remain in their clothes during the questioning part of the exam. Fine. The doc then asks me to get on the exam table and listens to my heart and lungs, checks my strength of my arms and legs, pushes on my abdomen, and then tells me to go get my labs drawn. No skin check, no breast exam, no looking in my eyes and ears, no looking in my mouth, no palpating my neck/glands. These should be standard assessments during an annual physical. I ask the doctor if he's going to do a urine analysis, and he says, "you only need to do that if we're testing for STIs. Do you want STIs testing?" There is actually a lot of data about that can be gathered about your health by looking at the urine, primarily kidney function, so his response took me off guard. Now, like I said, I'm pretty healthy, so I just let it go and didn't insist on the urine test, and instead just got my bloodwork. A few days later my bloodwork results come back and I look at them on the portal. One of my lab values was on the high side (my creatinine), but it wasn't outrageously out of the norm. This can be attributed to many things that are generally benign when looking at this test. There are other lab values that correlate to the creatinine that can help determine kidney health and functionality and these lab values were all within the norm. I then get a phone call later from doctor Korneluk saying that, "you have stage 2 kidney disease and need to come back in for more bloodwork and a URINE TEST." First of all, my creatinine was 3/100 of a point above normal. That does NOT mean I have kidney disease! Secondly, if he had ordered a urine analysis like I recommended the first time, I wouldn't have to come back for that. No doctor looking at one abhorrent data point would jump to the conclusion of stage 2 kidney disease. He did tell me that he studied to be a Sports Medicine doctor, so maybe he's new to reading lab work, but calling a patient and using verbiage like "disease and failure" only illicit fear and unnecessary stress. Fortunately, I know enough to know that I am almost certainly NOT experiencing kidney failure and was just dehydrated and possibly in mild rhabdo from playing 5 hours of sand volleyball the night before. So, the exam was terrible, he didn't order the right tests and spent a total of about 7 minutes in the room with me. He used fear mongering language over the phone to tell me I need to come back in to pay for more labs, and then I found out he charged me over $450 for this experience! My insurance only approved to pay for half of that visit because there is NO reason an annual physical should cost that much. As someone who also works in healthcare, it is SO disappointing that this type of thing is happening. I expect providers to hold themselves to a higher standard. Go somewhere else for your primary healthcare. read more

I have been a client of this clinic for the last 5 years and the last 2 years I have had trouble with Dr. Kylie May, PA-C. She discriminates my option of not answering personal question, simple as travel destination. I understand it seems to be simple questions for her; however, I have the right to choose not to answer about my sex life or destination and as a doctor, I expect her to respect my personal choices and move on with examine myself. For the last year we had a disagreement and I decided to overcome and come back this year since she already have my medical records. Surprisingly, besides of still requiring mask in her office, she refuse to attend me because I did not want to answer where I traveled too one month ago. For the last yeas, her work was okay, never went deep into annuals. My periods have been irregulars for years and she refuse to send me to a endocrino to check it further. Seems that she wants to 'treat' conditions once one is falling of a precipice. I would not suggest her (miss) care for anyone. Go find a doctor who is committed to Hippocrates Oath, who is passionate to the profession and will see and treat anyone regardless their sexual life, travel, vaccination, color, race or any other characteristics of a human being. Find a doctor that respects your choice and is willing to give nothing less than their compassion and best service and medical ethics. read more

I'm a male who was involved in a snowboarding accident and took care from a "provider" here named, "Kylie May". Kylie May had no idea anything about my injury AND Instead of sending me elsewhere and admitting that. She showed just how unprofessional she was by milking me and my insurance company for as much money as she could. At most she should be shadowing a doctor, because then too she wouldnt be making passes towards her patient' either. Very uncomfortable. She also requested me as a friend on "Facebook". This woman was "guessing" my medical situation with involving a VERY serious back injury. OUR last appointment she actually pulled out her phone and was googling solutions for my injury. When I went with another provider. She took it personally and reached out to my insurance company and told them basically that my whole injury is basic and healed. I am now with another doctor awaiting a spine injection and physical therapy. Avoid this woman like the plague. Unless you stub a toe. read more

I believe Dr Kruetter is the best. One of the few doctors that remembers who you are and what your health conditions are without having to refer to your past visits. She really cares about your health and works with you to give you the best care. She is also very smart and articulate. Love her personality too. I have seen many negative reviews on yelp because of Kylie May PA-C and agree with them. I saw her once when Dr Kruetter was unavailable and never will do that again. And yes, sometimes you have to ride the support staff to get prescriptions called in. Hard to find good help now-a-days. I came down with Covid and called Cherry Creek family practice to get some help with what to do. Even though it was during office hours I could only talk to the answering service. They took down my information and said it would be given to the doctor and someone would call me back. Still waiting after two days. Ever since Centura took over this practice has gone downhill. Went for an annual physical. All went well. Kylie claimed I needed a biopsy and said she would get me a referral. I called the office was told they would get back to me. Called 1 werk later as I never heard back from anyone and was AGAIN promised a call back and didnt get one. YOU DONT TELL SOMEONE THEY NEED A BIOPSY AND THEN NEVER GET BACK TO THEM . After being a patient for over 3 years, the Only reason I'm leaving the one star review is because TIA the receptionist is beyond rude. I had to ring the bell FOUR times to even be greeted and checked in. (Meanwhile I hear her in the back laughing hmm wonder who with? Lol). Dr. Kreutter has been my PCP for over two years and I couldn't be happier. Every time I need to come in the staff makes it easy and the doctor makes you feel really comfortable. I usually don't have to wait more than twenty minutes and I have been able to schedule appointments as early as two days in advance without difficulty. read more

Jennifer Smith PA-C is one of the best docs I have seen. She is kind, professional, knowledgeable, and made me feel like she really cared about my well-being. I highly recommend seeing her. Dr. Kreutter has seen both of my children who are under age 4. She is very thorough and created an enjoyable and comfortable experience for the kids. You can tell she really cares and takes time to educate us and of course that means a lot for a parent. At times the front staff aren't the most welcoming. I always appreciate when people look at you and acknowledge your presence. That could be improved. I also think the suite is a little worn and old. Could use a bit of a revamp. But what matters are docs that are thorough, kind, and listen and this place provides that. Grateful we found them! read more

Like so many others, my review is on Kylie May. 1st off she is not a dr., she's a PA. I was diagnosed with an injury from the Covid vaccine, by a specialist and she turned her nose up like I was lying to her. I assure you, the injury is very real and something I have to deal with for the rest of my life. She renewed some of my meds, but not my thyroid or the pill for my asthma. She focuses on what she wants to. She's very rude and condescending. If a full fledged doctor tells you something, she scoffs at it and doesn't take you seriously. Avoid this woman like the plague. I feel well cared for here. I trusted this practice when I was a young child, and I trust this practice as a grown adult. I agree with the majority of Yelp reviews on this business. I didn't get the sense that the receptionist, the medical assistant or the nurse practitioner had any type of cohesion or shared conscious goals such as good patient care. The clothing was continually distracting on three of the four women with whom I spoke. I was taken to the nurse practitioner before I had filled out the paperwork. I was there for a physical, to address a health concern, and to have a compounded prescription for Klonapin refilled. The nurse practitioner told me brusquely that I could have a physical, but I couldn't ask questions about a health concern in the same visit. I also couldn't get a prescription for klonapin in the same visit. Obamacare rules, she told me. Nor could I get a refill for klonapin without submitting to a urine test. I've never been asked (in this case, ordered) to have a urine test. She almost snarled. I am tapering off Klonapin. I was at 2 mg for at least 20 years. Now I am at .02 mg. And I would have to agree to comply with her "orders" to for the taper. ?? She hadn't gone through the first ten months getting off this terrible drug, the way my husband helped me. How could she talk in such a condescending fashion? I'm 64 years old. I didn't sense respect for my age. Until Emily appeared, I didn't notice any lady-like employees and I certainly didn't feel as if I were treated like a lady. I may have been the last appointment scheduled for the day. My visit ended shortly before 5 pm. I went to the waiting room to complete the paperwork. The receptionist left at 5 pm without a word to me. I completed the paperwork. To whom should I give the documents? How was I going to check out or pay? I walked to the back. The third person to whom I spoke was able to help me. Emily was lovely. I've been looking for a primary doctor since I moved to Denver two years ago, and I have yet to find one. Called to schedule a full physical. They mis-scheduled me, and I did not get a full physical. I got a check up, then they suggested that I come back and pay again for the full physical. After an hours wait on a Tuesday morning, I was given a quick check up, and released with a bill sent to my insurance. They essentially took my height, weight, and blood pressure then released me. Giving them the benefit of the doubt. I referred my girlfriend for a visit for her annual exam. Again, the front desk attendant was short. She came in at 10:00 and was not seen by the doctor for her 10:00 appointment until 11:30. She ended up with a questionable test and the doctor told her "the results are abnormal, so you need to see a specialist." The doctor did not know any specialists, or help any further. Now she's left clueless and worried with no guidance. read more

I arrived early to fill out paperwork... then waited an additional 20-30 min past my appointment time to be seen. The Dr. who saw me (I didn't catch her name) sent me across town to get blood work done, and said she'd call to discuss results. She never called. Waste of my time, waste of my co-pay. Waste of my insurance company's money. A small rant: Why is it so hard to find a competent doctor? My dog's vet always calls with results. They even call to check up on him the day after a vet visit. I'm sort of torn on this one. Recently, I have been experiencing some symptoms that could either be allergies or a touch of the flu. I made an appointment to come in and see Dr. Black later that day. Upon arriving to the building, I noticed that almost the entire building is boarded up! Not creepy at all to a female walking around by herself! After finding the secret entrance (lol, kidding but not really) and making my way through the maze of construction going on in the lobby and hallways, I finally found their office. I was greeted, filled out the usual paperwork and sat to wait to see the doctor. An hour later, one of the nurses came to tell me that Dr. Black got caught up in a procedure and has another patient and an additional procedure in front of me in line. Fantastic. Feeling sick as a dog, I begrudgingly rescheduled for the next day after promises that I would get to see her immediately. In the back of my mind, I knew this was a lie. The next day, I arrived at the (what looks to be) abandoned building, mastered the construction maze and arrived 10minutes early for my appointment. 35minutes later, a nurse finally comes in to take me back. I was totally irritated at this point but she was so nice, it was hard to be upset. I ended up waiting an additional 30minutes for Dr. Black to come after the nurse had taken my blood pressure, etc. Dr. Black is a very warm person and she seems to be an easygoing kind of doctor. She was everything a doctor should be: courteous, informative, a good communicator and friendly! I walked in annoyed and left liking the staff. In good conscious, I can't give them more than 3 stars but I also cannot give them any less. read more

This group throws you over the side when you reach 65 and begin medicare. They DO NOT ACCEPT ANY TYPE OF MEDICARE!! So, if you like your doctor in this group, and are feeling loyal....don't bother - because they've already factored you out when you go on medicare. My experience at Cherry Creek Family Practice today was extremely disappointing. After verifying online that they take my new insurance I made an appointment for a medication check. When I arrived they refused to take my insurance stating that they do not take new patients with my new insurance-even though I've gone there for 2 years and had previously verified that they do, in fact, take my insurance. I spoke to the office manager who also stated that I could not use my insurance. She said that the website I used to verify that my insurance was acceptable wasn't always current. She then refused to assist me in finding other options, refused to fill my prescriptions and laughed at me when I asked for help. I left the office today and took a copy of my records. This office does not care about the well being of its patients. read more

I tried this office due to the convenient location from my home for my yearly physical and blood work as my previous doctor was no longer practicing after having a baby. I caught the negative vibe as soon as Dr. Kylie May walked into the room and thought maybe she was just having a really bad day. I have never had an experience with a professional that was so rude and condescending before but after reading reviews online following my appointment, i realized that i wasn't the only one to have this experience. She also spoke so loudly that I swear the entire building heard all of the medical questions she asked me. if it weren't for wanting to get my yearly blood work and physical out of the way for the year, I would have just walked out of the appointment. I needed to have my TDAP updated this year and they were out of the vaccine. they were to call in a week or so when they were restocked so I could stop by, but over 2 months later I still have yet to get a call. I also called to inquire about my blood work results and was told I could download them from a website and that Kylie would be calling to discuss the results in a day or two. It has again been over 2 months and I'm still waiting on that call. I have now returned to a new doctor at the previous practice, even though farther from my house, and have reviewed my blood work and gotten my TDAP updated through them. read more

I have never, ever felt more disrespected by a Doctor. DARREN ROTH "mansplained" to me during the entire appointment, especially after I made it clear that I did not want him to be my new Primary (I went in for food allergy testing). He acted like I was wasting his time, and proceeded to explain how many years he has been practicing medicine and that my fears about having a food allergy were unfounded. He was a terrible listener, and the appointment was incredibly awkward because he downplayed and questioned everything I told him about symptoms I was having. Everything he told me was what I had already learned from internet research. I truly do not understand how he is a doctor, he was incredibly difficult to talk to and communicate with. I will NEVER go back here. Everyone else I interacted with was great, and they are who the one star is for. Darren made it VERY clear that I was wasting his time and irritating him. If you want to be listened to and have your symptoms taken seriously, do NOT visit this doctor. He also wore a face mask under his nose the entire time, which was laughable from a Physician. I wish my husband had gone to the appointment with me; he never would have let someone talk to me the way Darren did. read more

Avoid Kylie May, PAC at all costs. I got so pissed off during our appointment that I just got up and left. I saw her once before and she seemed really nice, but at this appointment, she was in a bad mood the moment she walked in. I could tell she was and later I figured out that her bad attitude may be due to having to see people that haven't had the Covid vaccine. I wanted a referral for a certain evaluation and thought it would be no big deal (since I have a lot of the symptoms). Incidentally, I noted these complaints on a prior visit symptom checklist, but it was ignored at the prior visit. I did not know at that time that I would even need a referral, so I didn't press it. I had hoped I could get a referral without coming in but they wanted me to be seen. When I got in there, I got the 3rd degree because they needed to evaluate me first with additional testing before giving the referral. Fine. Requested additional basic lab work that I didn't want to see my hematologist for, thinking it would be easier with my PCP (which my prior PCP tested no questions asked). Again, she was irritated that I requested this. Her exact words, "This isn't Burger King where you can come in and order whatever you want." She essentially complained about having to take care of these chronic conditions she did not know about (they should have all been in my records). It sounds to me like she doesn't bother reading a patient's records before seeing them. Either that or information you give the practice gets discarded. I had another issue that she at first suggested I come in another day to be evaluated for. I was fine with that. However, she then proceeded to criticize me about another health issue which she thought was causing this problem. She obviously doesn't like any patients that advocate for themselves or try and take charge of their own health. She blatantly boasts of the Western Medicine philosophy. Horrible. I've been coming here for over 6 years. I will not be coming back. The office staff are rude and and can't seem to get billing right. The past 2 times I've been in they've collected a co-pay which was returned by my insurance. This time when I can in I asked the office to bill the co-pay. They refused and made me pay. No big deal, I'd just like not to pay a co-pay when I'm not required. It's difficult to get an appointment. When you are seen, it's usually by the NP, which is ok, but they're fresh out of school. None of the NPs have been in this office for more than 2 years. This is a training office. Once the NPs get some experience they leave. And with good reason. Each time I come in this office I feel put out and not welcome. I have a medication that they will only refill every 90 days, which I've gotten from another provided for 6 months at a time. So I have to pay for an office visit each time I need a refill. I've also had one of the NPs act like I was drug seeking when requesting a refill on a medication I've been taking for several years. I suggest the providers here look in the registry before acting that way towards patients. They should also fire all front desk staff and rehire all. What a horrible office and seems like they're over/double billing insurance and patients. read more

This place is a terrible rip off. They tried to over bill Me by telling that lied to them by not telling them I had a sore elbow and stating they would have to bill me extra. I said fine then cna states I will be billed for physical and to talk about problem I didn't tell them about. What????
