If you end up playing here, though, you'll be treated to one of the best 18 holes you can play in Massachusetts. This course is very well maintained, and very challenging. There are almost no holes that you can survive with an innacurate tee shot. The course itself is very long, and has difficult shots around its very protected greens. The course was designed by Donald Ross, and you can see some of his trademark elements still in the design. If you' have enough money to become a member here, I would seriously consider it.

I even tried to be polite with him and get through the conflict, but he quite literally said "don't sir me" in an effort to get me to not call him sir. The course itself starts near the Orchard Hill Observatory and then works its way towards Eastman Lane. It is a 9 hole course with some unique obstacles. The course itself is pretty well maintained, but it has poor signage. What we ended up having to do was pull up the course map on our phone and follow that as a guide. The shrubbery was well maintained but there was a lot of trash near the tee off areas. Overall it was an enjoyable excursion except for the last hole. The issue was that the last hole is near a set of dorms and since the weather was nice there were a ton of people in the grass. We had to play around them because they didn't budge when they saw us playing. I hope that in the future they will make this course 18 holes, but not a bad start for now!
