Haven't had any problems with any one so far. The place if relatively quiet. They have a decent pool here for your enjoyment. Also a tennis court and exercise room with treadmills and free weights. Lots of room for parking. As for the area, there is a ton of stuff very near by! Walmart lowes, and restaurants. Meijer is right across the street from willowcreek. Rent seems to be lower than most other places in the area. The grounds are well kept and apts are up to date and clean when you move in.

MOLD! This place looks nice enough from the outside but the problems start after you move in. We…read moregot mold months after moving in when we call them and they make it seem like it's normal saying the windows seals are broken and all they do it's clean the mold and not actually fix the problem that causes it. We then got mold in our closet and we lost several personal items that they don't replace and then mold showed up in our bathroom, which they open the wall full of mold and left the wall open for almost a month with the mold everywhere due to bad communication with maintenance. We renewed our lease because we thought the mold was gone but as soon as it got cold the mold came back. We are breaking our lease because this apartment is no longer a healthy environment for us I have 2 small children that keep getting sick and now because we want to leave to keep our family safe we have to be punish and pay a Huge fee. Once I sent the email with our reason for leaving they want to "fix" the problem. The walls are paper thin so you would hear EVERYTHING! And some of the neighbors thing they own the Parking because they been here longer! I would not move here but if you do test for mold and other things. If you want to get in a screaming match with anyone the office manager it's your person! Ever since we said we are moving every time she speaks with my husband she is soo unprofessional!

I have been here for over six months and cannot tell you how much I love it here! It is a very…read morenice, quiet place. The people including staff are wonderful and pleasant. The apartments are well insulated so I don't hear a lot of noise from others unless they are outside or in the hall. Once the door closes, it is quiet as can be! A beautiful complex in an ideal community. Safe and sound. I'm home!

If you move here place jersey blocks around your vehicle as people love to slam their doors into whatever is parked next to them(my car looked like it was parked inside a fucking batting cage by the time I moved). There are no balconies in the apartments. Each building has two community balconies, one in front and one in back. Management was decent as long as you pay your rent and they were willing to take care of maintenance issues in a timely manner. I guess if you're looking for an apartment it's not the worst place to settle, but it sure isn't the best either.

Today was by far the worse days of living here. My front door has no weather stripping so it's frozen. You could hear and feel the cold air coming in from the outside not only through the lack or weather stripping but in the living room where the floor and wall meets. I did call the office and all they said was put blankets around the window. How does that solve the issue?? Your charging me $1600 a month to reside here and that's the best you can come up with as a resolution? I lived in other apartment complexes before not paying nearly as much and never had to endure with what I did today. These buildings are over 10 yrs. old and the issues don't justify to what there charging to live here. I will not be renewing my lease. I feel sorry for anyone to decides to rent here cause for what they charge the buildings are not up to par. They are charging the same amount as brand new Apartments in Valparaiso that were built less than this and don't have nearly as much problems. Do yourself a favor and run and don't look back. The office staff and maintenance is great. Lake Pointe Apartments are now owned my Morgan Properties and there hands are tied, but again stay clear of any owners with the name Morgan Properties. I have photos from the issues I ensured today. I won't post them here. The office manager has been sent them and the issues although I know nothing will be done.

Cons: Animals in walls, dishonest office staff, mediocre maintenance (refrigerator door put on upside down after refrigerator went out and had to get a new one). Not all electronics work in apt (thermostat, intercom), sliding door didn't lock and wasn't fixed. Our apartment had animals in the walls which made a lot of noise in the middle of the night. One night an animal started eating through the drywall in our bedroom and was sticking its paws out into the room. I called the emergency maintenance line and no one ever answered my call. Had to barricade the bedroom door so when the animal broke through it wouldn't be free in the apartment. Went to the office the next day and they offered to put poison in the wall, but didn't care that there would be a smell of dead animals in the walls. Poison was sprinkled in one wall and the animals kept coming back. 8 subsequent calls were made over 4 months time and we were told they would think about fixes, but nothing was ever done. POOR customer service.
